Xiaomi announces its next wearable device, it is the Mi Smart Band 4 with AMOLED display and the company claims that the band can last up to 20 days on a single charge. Which is definitely incredible, considering other similar bands in the markets.
However, there is one notable information and fact we are missing out, and that is Xiaomi announcing the Mi Band 4 that was launched back in June, China, as the new Mi Smart Band 4, which are practically the same.
Well, the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4 was launched with a 0.95-inch AMOLED color display, 120×240 pixels with 2.5D scratch-resistant glass protection, 50-meter water resistance with a starting price of for Rs. 2299.
Probably, the addition of the ‘Smart’ difference has to go into the display, as the new Mi Smart Band 4 is clearly 39.9% bigger than the predecessor. Available in Black color with colored straps in Orange, Violet and Purple colors options.
Arrives with a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, PPG heart rate sensor for 24×7 heart rate monitoring. There is this new swim tracking feature with stroke recognition that can distinguish between backstroke, butterfly, and 3 more swimming styles.
To spice things up, the new Xiaomi Mi Band 4 comes with 77 different watch faces, and the band is also 5ATM water resistant so that you can take it for swimming under 50 meters.
Comes with Bluetooth 5.0 LE, and 22.1g ultra light body. The company inserted an in-built 135mAh Li Ion polymer battery capacity that claims to last up to 20 days on a single charge.
Priced at Rs. 2299 ($33) and will be available from September 19th on Amazon.in, mi.com and Mi Home. And it is compatible with phones running Android 4.4 or higher, and iOS 9.0 or a later build, and can pairs via the Mi Fit app.
