Finally, the Chinese company, Xiaomi has announced the long-awaited Mi Mix 2s! Xiaomi co-founder Lei Jun says “We are comparing it to iPhone X because people say it is the best phone. We just want to show we surpassed the best in many features,” in Shanghai.
The handset was launched today by 7 am and it sparkles a lot of specifications and features. Xiaomi keeps wowing its customers with its amazing screen display. Alongside with the mobile phone, the company also launched the Mi Wireless Charger, Mi Gaming Laptop, and Mi AI Speaker Mini.
Tho, the new phone comes with inspiring components, panels, and wonderful designs, there are also a few cons. Let’s see the key features of the Mix 2s;

Design and Display
The new Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s Smartphone comes with strong Aluminum and ceramic body build coming in with a sleek, slim and curved ceramic body and 7000-series aluminum frame. Xiaomi says it’s the perfect marriage of technology and art.
On the display, you have a huge 5.99-inch, Full HD+ LCD display. With the Mi Mix 2s, you can see more and hold less. With an increased screen-to-body ratio.
On the back, you have a dual camera megapixel. Like the predecessor, the Mi Mix 2s is more comfortable in the hand. It is best operated on one hand. Xiaomi didn’t ditch the fingerprint sensor, as it is mounted on the back (rear) side under the camera.
Unfortunately, the new phone didn’t arrive with any certification. There is no Water resistance or dust resistance. So, you ought to be careful when holding the phone.
Xiaomi exclusively avoided the notch display that has been the trending design for Android smartphone makers. The front camera, unlike the first rumors that circulated that, the Mi Mix 2s would arrive with a little notch that houses just the front selfie camera officially, has been shifted to the bottom display due to the full view display.

A 12Mp f/1.8 wide-angle + 12Mp f/2.4 telephoto dual-camera with a built-in AI for on-the-fly translations and special background blurring effects. The Sony sensor has enlarged 1.4um pixels, 2x optical zoom, and dual-pixel autofocus.
It also supports portrait mode effects as it is able to accurately distinguish between the subject and background, enabling precise background blurring.
It is quite impressive and it records a staggering 101 points in DxO Mark- the leading and trusted source in the industry for camera and lens image quality measurements and ratings —gave Mi MIX 2S a higher photo rating, the second-highest ever photo score for a smartphone camera.
Xiaomi says the main, wide-angle camera is the “best camera it’s ever used,” There is the ARCore and Face ID also.
Performance and Storage
The Mi Mix 2s comes with a great performance review as it runs smoothly and efficiently with the new 2.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with the new Adreno 630 graphics, which gives up to 30 percent higher performance and up to 30 percent lower power consumption.
On the Operating system, it runs on Xiaomi’s MIUI 9.5, on top of Android 8.0 Oreo and you have a huge 8GB of RAM and a 6GB RAM version. Enabling you to run many apps at a higher speed. Mi MIX 2S achieved a score of 277,178.
While the memory storage, it comes in different variants, Mix 2s 64GB, Mix 2s 128GB, and Mix 2s 256GB and you can store more apps, music, videos, movies, and many others.
Battery and Security
Just like the Mix 2, the new 2s arrives with the same 3400mAh battery capacity to keep your phone house on for at least a full day. There is also fasting charging technology; Qualcomm Quick Charge v3 through its USB-C port.
And also, the Mi Mix 2S is the first Xiaomi phone to support wireless charging. With a wireless charging coil, which supports the Qi spec and will be accompanied by a new optional wireless charging pad from Xiaomi.
The Mix 2s comes with a Fingerprint sensor at the back with a Face ID that supports facial recognition allowing you to unlock your Smartphone using the front selfie camera. Other forms of securities are also involved.

Update: Recently, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s shows up again with a video of the Mix 2s using wireless charging. If this turns out to be true, then, the Mi Mix 2s would be arriving with Wireless charging.
Mi Mix 2s is priced starting at 3299 yuan (Rs 34,000 approx) for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage option. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant cost 3599 (Rs 37,000 approx) yuan. The higher-end 8GB RAM 256GB storage option will be available at 3999 (Rs 41,400 approx) yuan.
