Finally, You can now send stickers on Whatsapp

Finally, Whatsapp users can now send stickers to their friends on the platform. The messenger app is increasingly greatly and adding such feature will definitely enlighten it.

Stickers is very essential for all messenger app, social media accounts etc. That is why it sounds crazy, hearing for the first time that Whatsapp hasn’t included such glamouring feature. But it is currently rolling out for all users.

The messaging app, Whatsapp has made an official announcements on their blog post:

“Whether with a smiling teacup or a crying broken heart, stickers help you share your feelings in a way that you can’t always express with words. To start, we’re launching sticker packs created by our designers at WhatsApp and a selection of stickers from other artists.

We’ve also added support for third-party sticker packs to allow designers and developers around the world to create stickers for WhatsApp. To do this, we’ve included a set of APIs and interfaces that allow you to build sticker apps that add stickers to WhatsApp on Android or iOS. You can publish your sticker app like any other app to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and users who download and install your app will be able to start sending those stickers right from within WhatsApp. You can learn more about creating your own sticker apps for WhatsApp here.

To use stickers in a chat, simply tap the new sticker button and select the sticker you want to share. You can add new sticker packs by tapping the plus icon. Stickers will be available for Android and iPhone over the coming weeks. We hope you enjoy them!”

You can easily get the stickers ready to use, and it is pretty much like Facebook. Where you are expected to download the pack, before you can use them. And you can use the stickers via the new sticker icon in the text input field.

The stickers are created by WhatsApp designers, with few other artists. Users who had the update up and running, testified of using third-party sticker apps on Android and iOS, but can be sent as an image. That means, you can Google Play Store or App Store stickers within WhatsApp.

In Few week, the feature will be rolling out to all iOS and Android devices. But you can update the feature and the functionality will begin automatically.
