Whatsapp was meant to arrive on KaiOS-based Jio Phone on August 15 but by September 20, it’ll be available for all Jio phones users. Whatsapp earlier mentioned that it’ll be similar to Android version.

However, this isn’t the first time Androids app / features will be coming to Jio Phones running on Firefox OS-powered KaiOS, others includes: Facebook app specially for Jio phones, Google special assistance and Google Maps for Jio phones.

1. Go to JioStore from the menu and
2. Search for WhatsApp
3. Tap on Install option
4. Installation will begin immediately.
