Design and Display
Vivo has launched Z10, the company’s latest mid-range selfie-focused smartphone in India. It offers a sleek, thin and narrow bezels on edges of the device, providing a considerable amount of 84.4% screen-to-body ratio.
The 6-inches screen with 18:9 aspect ratio is quite impressive, a FullView display with 2.5D curved glass display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen resolution of 720p isn’t quite astonishing but unique.
Avoiding the notch display, like the X21i, is what most Smartphones can’t do without, but the Vivo Z10 proves it ground by doing so. It is available in Blue, Black and Gold colors, there is a fingerprint sensor scanner at the back of the device.
Camera and Connectivity
The phone is technically a selfie-centric device. Packs a 24-megapixel front-facing camera f/2.0 aperture with LED flash, Portrait Mode, Moonlight glow, which takes profession photos, also equipped with Face Beauty algorithm, even in low light. It is much like the Vivo V7 and V7 Plus, and many others also.
The V7 might arrive with almost the same design, specs and features but the Z10 is slightly an awesome upgrade. The 24-megapixels selfie shooter is also equipped with face-unlocking feature called Face Access.
While on the back, the phone sports a cool 16-megapixels f/2.0 aperture with LED Flash, enhanced with Ultra HD mode, the company promised that the Z10 16MP rear camera can take photos of 64MP sensor.
There is the basic network and connectivity, a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), micro USB port, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS.
Performance and Battery
While on the performance, the Vivo Z10 is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, with Adreno 506 GPU, to handle the graphic performance of the device.
The handset comes with a 4GB of RAM, multitasking, switching of apps, can now be taken care of. While there is 32GB of internal storage, there is also support for expansion of memory space.
Unfortunately, the Vivo Z10 runs on Android Nougat 7.1 OS, when we have the current Android 8.0 Oreo and upcoming Android 9.0 P. Everything is taken care of by the 3225mAh battery capacity.
The Vivo Z10 will be an offline exclusive and will not be sold by the company on e-commerce stores. The smartphone will be available only across the states of Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
