Chinese Smartphone makers, Vivo has introduced a new mid-range Smartphone. This is the Vivo Y93 device, it was launched in China and arrives with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage etc.
One of the key point, is that the Vivo Y93 is cheaper, affordable and equivalent to the trending economically priced markets. However, you will find those regular but standard specs on the paper sheet.

Design and Display
It is still a notched Smartphone, but the latest smaller v-shaped and waterdrop notch display. The phone offers a moderate 6.2-inch LCD HD+ 19:9 display with screen resolution of 720 x 1580 pixels.
And it is available in two stylish and gradient color options, which includes Starry Night and Red color variants. The new handset lacks a back mounted fingerprint sensor scanner. Which isn’t a new story for the Smartphone industry.
Definitely, the Vivo Y93 is a budget Android smartphone and is currently available for sale in China. The design is much more similar to other mid-range Smartphone out there, and never underestimate the power of Vivo.
Camera and connectivity
At the back, you will find the dual rear camera setup, which consists of 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor. And they both support phase-detection autofocus and supports AI-powered portrait mode.
You will only find a single camera sensor at the front, it is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. And it comes with Face Wake, AI beautification, and AR stickers. The front facing camera can also double as Face ID unlock.
Packs couple of network and connectivity features. Such as dual SIM slot, Bluetooth 5, and Wi-Fi ac at 364 Mbps. The chipset limits the LTE speeds to 150/75 Mbps.
Performance and Battery
And it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset with eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at Octa-core 1.95 GHz processor and coupled with 4GB of RAM. It is the first smartphone with a Snapdragon 439 chipset, built on the 12 nm FinFET process.
The Y93 also comes with the voice assistant Jovi, which is part of the FunTouch OS, based on Android Oreo 8.1. Under the hood, it is fueled by a 4030mAh battery capacity via a micro USB port.
And arrives in only one variants, 64GB of inbuilt storage but it is expandable up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. It is priced at Rs. 15,900, which is around $215 / €190 / N77,400 in Nigeria currency.
