Vivo announces its latest Smartphone in Thailand, the Vivo Y72 5G is the company’s latest mid-range mobile handset with amusing specifications, impressive features, powerful battery capacity, and it is powered by Dimensity 700 5G.
The Vivo Y72 5G arrives with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution with slim and minimal bezels and a waterdrop notch display for its front-facing camera. The back panel packs a gradient design.
Vivo completely placed all the buttons on the right side of the device, it holds the volume up/down buttons and the power buttons, which also works as the side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The waterdrop notch at the top of the display is the camera cutout that houses a single 16-megapixels selfie camera with beautification. Probably, the front-facing camera also supports a biometric sensor for Face Unlock.
Along with the gradient back panel, Vivo mounted a triple rear camera sensor, vertically set up inside its own camera houses. The main sensor is a 64-megapixels with LED flash, supported by an 8-megapixels ultrawide snapper and 2-megapixels macro cam.
The connectivity options include the following, 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS, and comes with Dual SIM support, which allows either nano + nano.
It is completely powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Its runs on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 11.1 on top of Android 11 OS out of the box.
The Vivo Y72 5G is available in Graphite Black and Dream Glow color options. Keeping the light of the device up and running is the 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging through USB Type-C.
In Thailand, the Smartphone in its lone variant costs THB 9,999, and when converted to US Dollars, it is around $323/€271. The Y72 5G first sales have been scheduled for the end of the month, 31st of March.
