The Vivo Y5s is the company’s latest mid-range Android device with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, triple rear cameras, 5000mAh battery along with the latest MediaTek Helio P65 12nm SoC with 6GB of RAM.
Vivo quietly announced the Y5s in its home country, and it is quite similar to other phones in the company’s Y-series. You can still find the dewdrop display like the Vivo Y91.
It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor scanner, triple rear camera lens, and many other impressive features. Its just like the Vivo Y19, which was recently unveiled in Thailand.

The Vivo Y5s arrives with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) screen display, which boasts of 90.3% screen-to-body ratio, and a water-drop notch display which hosts a single 16-megapixels selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
While the back panel holds a triple rear camera, which includes the main 16-megapixels primary sensor with Sony IMX499 sensor, f/1.78 aperture + 8-megapixels 120° ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixels 4cm macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The mobile phone is available in Blue Black and Green colors options, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor scanner, and it weighs 193g. Which is somehow heavy. The Vivo Y5s sports some identical specs like the Vivo U3.
It is powered by a 4x Cortex-A75 @ 2.0 GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio P65 (MT6768) 12nm processor with ARM Mali-G52 GPU, and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch OS 9 out of the box.
The phone comes in a single variant, which is the the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, that can be expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
While a 5000mAh battery capacity keeps the phone running, with support for the company’s 18W Dual Engine fast charging, and charges via a micro USB port. In China, it costs 1498 yuan ($214) and can be purchased soon in China.
