Vivo Y53i with Snapdragon 425 processor, Face Unlock, 2GB

The Vivo Y53i Android smartphone is among the best Vivo Smartphone to be priced at an affordable price. The newly launched device looks stylish in design, efficient and smooth finishing. It is the successor to its Y53 smartphone.

This entry level device comes with 5-inch QHD IPS display up to 221 PPI with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Which is not that bad but don’t expect the HD resolution on other high-end phones. The bezels on the Vivo Y53i is amusing, totally different from the designs, we are seeing in nowadays Smartphones.

Notable specs on the new device is the screen flash and face unlock. It skipped the fingerprint sensor scanner. The Chinese company claims the phone model was made in only India. As you may already know, Vivo also have strong remarkable presence in India market.

The phone is only available in Gold variant and is priced at Rs 7990 / $120 / N44k.On the processor, it is powered by a Quad Core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset with Adreno 308 graphics. Features 144.2 × 71.4 × 7.64 mm dimension and weighs 137 grams.

The Y53i features 2GB RAM and built-in storage of 16GB, which is expandable up to 256 GB via Micro SD card slot and comes with 2,500mAh removable Li-Po battery capacity. There is 4G VoLTE, 4G/LTE, 3G, 2G, GSM, CDMA, Bluetooth v4.2, and WiFi; 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac for connectivity.

On the camera, the phone packs a 8-megapixel camera at the back with an aperture of f/2.0 while the front-facing snapper is a 5-megapixel f/2.2 aperture lens. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow under the company’s Funtouch OS 3.0.
