The vivo Y21T has been announced in two gradient colors: Pearl White and Midnight Blue options. It is a mid-range smartphone and went official in one of its major countries, India among the company’s largest phone lineup, the Y series.
Both color options arrive with a unique body design, an ultra-slim 8mm body, alongside an impressive Dual-Tone Step on the rear panel. It weighs 182g and comes with a volume up/down button and a power button that doubles as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
On the vivo Y21T front is a 6.58-inch LCD 20.07:9 aspect ratio display with a screen resolution of 2408 ×1080 pixels, which brings FHD+ and comes with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. It arrives with a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and Dual-SIM support.
Along with the rear panel is a fine camera cut, which houses a single 50-megapixels f/1.8 lens with LED flash support, accompanied by a secondary 2-megapixels depth camera, and 2-megapixels f/2.4 macro camera. Inside the waterdrop screen is a 8-megapixels f/1.8 lens.
The vivo Y21T is completely powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Mobile Platform, it is a 6nm chipset with Adreno 610 GPU, which doesn’t provide premium graphic performance, but will do the job perfectly combined with the processor.
It is available in 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage, which is expandable up to 1TB with microSD, and it runs Android 11 OS with the company’s FuntouchOS 12 skin on top. It brings GPS support, and Dual 4G VoLTE.
Fueling up the vivo Y21T is a gigantic 5000mAh battery with an 18W charging through USB Type-C, and the company did not mention how long it will take to fill up, but with an 18W charger, we are looking at approximately 1-2hours.

The vivo Y21T was launched in India, hence, the single memory configuration, 4GB RAM with 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 16,490, ($221.55) and the company mentioned that the new handset will be available from online and offline channels starting from January 3rd.
