Vivo Y20i and Y20 announced in India with a 6.51-inch display, triple rear cameras, 5000mAh battery, and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor with either 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM respectively.
Both phones are the latest in the company’s Y-series, and they are identical to each other. The major differences in the different amounts of RAM and color options. Aside from that, they are the same phone with two versions.
The Vivo Y20 4GB RAM is priced at INR12,990 ($175), while the Vivo Y20i with 3GB RAM goes for INR11,490 ($155). As already noted, both phones offer different color options.

With the major being the difference, the Vivo’s new phones are practically the same phone. Where Vivo Y20i offers a 3GB RAM and the Y20 with 4GB RAM, both use the LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB storage, expandable up to 256GB with a dedicated microSD card slot.
The last difference is the paint job, the Vivo Y20i comes in Dawn White Nebula Blue colors options and the Vivo Y20 comes in Obsidian Black and Dawn White options.
Aside from that, both phones sport the same 6.51-inch HD+ LCD screen display, with a screen resolution of 720 pixels. Both measures 8.41mm weighs 192.3grams and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Y20 duo comes with four cameras in total, an 8-megapixels camera inside the waterdrop notch display, while the back panel holds the 13-megapixels rear camera, 2-megapixels depth sensor, and 2-megapixels macro.
VIVO Y20 and Y20i are powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 460nm 11nm Mobile Platform, with 600MHz Adreno 610 GPU and runs on Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s FunTouch OS 10.5 on top.
For connectivity, we’ve got the dual SIM mode, which allows nano + nano + microSD, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and MicroUSB port.
In order to keep the phones light switched on, Vivo plastered a 5000mAh battery with 18W FlashCharge technology. Vivo claims the phones can last up to 16 hours of online HD movie streaming and 11 hours of gaming on a single charge.
For purchases, the VIVO Y20 will be available starting August 28, and the Y20i availability will start from September 3 via Vivo India’s online store, e-commerce websites, and partner retail stores across the country.
