The Chinese Smartphone maker, VIVO announces its latest entry-level mobile handset, it is the Vivo Y1s with a 6.22-inch Halo FullView HD+ display, two cameras, and packs a 4030mAh battery capacity.
Vivo Y1s is the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Y series in the offline market. The device is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 12nm processor with ARM Cortex A53 CPU with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The device is only available in a single memory variant, it is the 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB through a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
It runs on Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s skin on top, Funtouch OS 10.5. The device comes with support for 4030mAh battery capacity that can probably last for a day on a single full charge.
On the front screen is a 6.22-inch 720 pixels HD+ Halo FullView display, boasts of 88.3% screen-to-body ratio with NEG T2X-1 screen protection. The device measures 155.11 x 75.09 x 8.28mm and it weighs 161 grams.
It has a gradient finish on the back panel, and it is available in Olive Black and Aurora Blue color options. The device lacks a fingerprint sensor scanner, but still face unlock.
Inside the front display is a waterdrop notch that houses 5-megapixels with an f/1.8 aperture. While the back panel holds a single 13-megapixels with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. It comes with other average camera features.
The device comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio and comes with the following connectivity features such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, and MicroUSB port.
Vivo did not announce the phone through its social media handles but went through with it quietly by listing the phone quietly on its website. However, VIVO failed to make available the pricing, but might go for Rs. 7990 ($108) and will be available from offline stores.
