Vivo Y12s launched as the successor to the Y12 that was launched back in 2019. The Y12s was officially launched in India with a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo FullView display, three cameras, Helio P35 SoC, and a big battery capacity.
It comes with a 6.51-inch 720 pixels HD+ 20:9 LCD screen, 20:9 aspect ratio. The device sports a gradient back panel with slimmer bezels on the front that measures 164.41 × 76.32 × 8.41mm and weighs 192g.
Around the side of the mobile phone is the fingerprint sensor that is embedded inside the home/power button, which the company claims unlocks the phone in just 0.22s The Vivo Y12s comes in Phantom Black and Glacier Blue color options.
The device is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 12nm processor (ARM Cortex A53 CPU) with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and comes in a single variant, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, that is expandable with a dedicated microSD card.
It comes with support for Dual SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, and GPS / GLONASS / Beidou. It runs on Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s Funtouch OS 11 on top.
Vivo Y12s arrives with a dual rear camera setup inside a rectangular vertical shape with LED flash, there is the primary 13-megapixels camera with f/2.2 aperture, and supported by a 2-megapixels depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
Inside the water-drop display is a single 8-megapixels front-facing camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The device gets camera features like Portrait, Photo, Video, Pano, Live Photo, Slo-Mo, Time-Lapse, Pro, DOC.
The handset is a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging through a MicroUSB port. It will be available for order at Rs. 9,990 ($136 USD) from Vivo India E-store, Amazon.in, Flipkart, Paytm, Tatacliq, and across all partner retail stores.
