Vivo X70 series announced – Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+. The Vivo X70 series will be launched in Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and India soon. The global launch is set for September 13th.
Vivo X70 Pro+
The premium Vivo X70 Pro+ arrives with a distinctive 6.78-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz Samsung E5 LTPO AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint sensor and it is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888+ 5nm chips.
The Vivo X70 PRO+ runs Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0, and it is available in two memory options – 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. It is IP68 rated, for water and dust resistance. It is 8.89mm thick and weighs 209g.
It comes with a primary 50-megapixels Samsung GN1 f/1.57 sensor with gimbal OIS, Zeiss T* coating, and V1 chip. Following up is the 48-megapixels Sony IMX598 ultra-wide sensor with 4-axis OIS Gimbal stabilization.
Next up is the portrait 12-megapixels camera with f/1.6 lens, and 8-megapixels periscope sensor with OIS, 5x optical zoom, 60x superzoom, and Laser autofocus. On the front is a single 32-megapixels f/2.45 front-facing camera.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ comes with a 4500mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging. It comes in Black color with AG glass, and leather finish on the Orange and Blue version.
Vivo X70 and X70 Pro
Both still come with a 32-megapixels selfie camera and Zeiss T* coating. These Smartphones arrive with a Sony IMX663 12-megapixels 50mm portrait camera with f/1.98 aperture, and support for Laser autofocus.
The X70 cameras – 40-megapixels Sony IMX766 f/1.89 sensor with OIS support, 12-megapixels f/2.2 ultra-wide lens with OIS. While the X70 Pro starts with an f/1.75 50-megapixels IMX766V sensor with OIS, V1 chip, and f/2.2 12-megapixels 116° ultra-wide lens with OIS.
Lastly, the Pro comes with an 8-megapixels periscope telephoto (5x optical zoom). These phones feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C Audio, run Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0, and comes with Dual SIM support.
Depending on the model, you can get up to 3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 6nm chipset with ARM G77 MC9 GPU or 2.8GHz Octa-Core Exynos 1080 5nm processor with Mali-G78 GPU.
You can find any of the device in 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage and 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB / 512GB (UFS 3.1) storage. The X70 and X70 Pro are 7.55mm / 7.99mm thick and weighs 181g / 185g respectively.
Both come with a 6.56-inch 2376×1080 pixels screen resolution FHD+ 19.8:9 AMOLED display, HDR10+ certified and supports for 120Hz refresh rate, which brings smooth scrolling. It is available in Black, White, and Purple gradient colors with AG glass back.
However model you go for, you’ll be getting support for 44W fast charging through USB Type-C. Where the X70 offers 4400mAh and the X70 Pro with 4450mAh battery. There are NFC / Bluetooth 5.1 / 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE / Wi-Fi 6 support. And GPS for positioning too.
