Vivo X50e 5G announced as the company’s cheapest phone in its Vivo X50 lineup with a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen display, QUAD-cameras, 33W charging, and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset.
With the X50 series introduced a few months ago, starting with the X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro Plus. Vivo has also unveiled the X50e 5G as the third Smartphone in the series.
It is a mid-range phone that arrives with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, 1080 pixels screen resolution, and the panel covers 103% of the NTSC color space. There’s a waterdrop-style notch that hosts a 32-megapixels selfie snapper.
At the back of the handset is a diamond shaped quad camera setup, which consists of the main 48-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.79 aperture, a 13-megapixel shooter with f/2.46 aperture, an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor with a f/2.4 macro lens.
The Smartphone camera features comes with several photo modes, including super moon, super night scene, portrait, HDR backlight, and macro. Being the most affordable among the lineup, there are some compromises and you shouldn’t expect much from the optics area.
The Vivo X50e 5G comes in two major paint job, Night and Water Mirror color options. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and packs a 4,350 mAh battery with support for 33W Flash Charge fast charging through a USB Type-C port.
Inside the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card, and runs on Funtouch OS 10, based on Android 10 OS out of the box.
It comes with support for a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC support. Starting from October 1st, the phone will be available for purchase at NT$13,990 ($480) in Taiwan.
