Vivo X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro+ announced as the company’s latest X50 series smartphones with gimbal-style cameras, with an in-display fingerprint sensor, 32MP selfie snapper along with a pair of truly wireless earbuds. The phones will start selling on the 6th of June.
The Vivo X50 Pro+ is the most premium among the three, as it packs a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED 55° curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and powered by Snapdragon 865 with 5G SA/ NSA support.
On the other hand, we have the Vivo X50 and X50 Pro Android Smartphones with a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch response rate, and are powered by Snapdragon 765G with support for 5G SA/ NSA.
Vivo should have announced the primary camera’s heavy-duty stabilization system in person but failed due to the pandemic, which Vivo compares to professional gimbals and chameleons’ eyes. Although, it previously showed up on Vivo’s Apex 2020 concept phone.

Vivo X50 Pro+
The X50 Pro+ uses Samsung’s new 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch ISOCELL GN1 sensor for the primary camera, and it is the first time for a Smartphone.
Where others include the 13MP 120° ultra-wide lens with f/2.2, and 2.5cm macro, 13MP periscope camera for 5x optical, 10x hybrid, and 60x digital zoom called Hyper Zoom, with f/3.4 aperture, and 32MP portrait camera.
It packs a 6.56-inch 1080p Full HD+ 19.8:9 E3 AMOLED 120Hz curved HDR10+ display, Snapdragon 865 7nm SoC, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, and 4350mAh battery with 44W fast charging technology.
The Vivo X50 Pro+ starts at 4998 yuan ($701) for the base model and goes up to 5998 yuan ($842) for the 12GB RAM with a 256GB storage version. Sells starts in July.
Vivo X50 Pro
We have the 6.56-inch 1080 pixels Full HD+ 19.8:9 E3 AMOLED 90Hz HDR10+ curved display, comes in Black, Blue, and Grey colors, measures 8.04mm, weighs 181.5g, and 4315mAh battery with 33W fast charging tech.
For the optics, it packs a 48-megapixels Sony IMX598 sensor with LED flash, a faster f/1.6 aperture, super micro PTZ camera, 8MP 120° ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2.5cm macro. Along with a 32MP front-facing camera.
There is an 8MP periscope camera for 5x optical, 10x hybrid, and 60x digital zoom with f/3.4 aperture, 13MP portrait camera (50mm equivalent) with f/2.46 aperture.
It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 765G 7nm EUV Mobile Platform with Adreno 620 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, runs on Android 10 with Funtouch OS 10.5.
The Vivo X50 Pro 8GB/128GB costs 4298 yuan ($603), and the 8GB/256GB goes for 4698 yuan ($660). It is available for order and will go on sale from June 12th.
Vivo says that the regular X50 is the slimmest 5G phone ever at 7.49mm thick, and weighs 174.5g. It is quite identical to the PRO version, with slight differences. Although, the X50 lacks the gimbal stabilization and the periscope zoom.

Anyways, the Vivo X50 is fueled by 4200mAh battery with 33W fast charging, available in Black, Blue, and Pink color options and will start selling from June 6th. The 8GB RAM with 128GB costs 3498 yuan ($491), and 3898 yuan ($547) for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version.
