Vivo launches another in-display fingerprint sensor scanner Smartphone, say hello to the Vivo X23 which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, and comes with the water-drop notched display at the top.
The Vivo X-series are popularly known as the company flagship family, and of course, the X20 Plus is the first commercial phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor. And since then, other top Chinese companies have been flooding the Smartphone markets with this trending feature.
Giant tech companies such as Samsung and Apple failed to introduce this feature on their phones before the X20 Plus launch. Up till now, Apple isn’t planning on adding this new technology to their future iPhones. While there is a speculation about Galaxy Pi with under-glass fingerprint sensor.

Design and Display
Featuring a large 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display, and a high-definition screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. There is a tiny v-shaped notch screen display, which stays at the top front of the device, that holds the 12-megapixels selfie camera.
There are dazzling colors design on the rear of the phone, the bottom chin bezel is minimal. Overall, the specs are good and considerable for a mid-range handset. The Vivo X23 is much like the recently released Vivo Smartphones.
The colors options available are Phantom Purple, Phantom Red, and Midnight Blue. You will be amazed at the Fashion Purple and Fashion Orange with the company logo “VIVO” lined across the back.

The top notch holds the 12-megapixels selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture, which combines with an IR scanner, for facial recognition -security system. While on the back, it holds a dual camera setup, consisting of 12MP f/1.8 regular and 13MP f/2.4 ultra wide cameras.
As usual, the cameras arrives with AI enhancements, such as AI Beauty, AI scene, AI Portrait, etc. The secondary sensor is 13MP with a 125-degree wide-angle lens to capture 3D depth-of-field information for bokeh and portrait modes.

The Vivo X23 comes with a 128GB of built-in storage and a 3400mAh battery, which offers 22.5W fast charge. The phone runs on the company’s Funtouch OS 4.5 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Vivo X23 with 8GB RAM phone will be available in China on September 14th for 3498 yuan / $512 which is around N185,000 in Nigeria currency. Well, the company are offering an extra RAM for an extra fee. You can possibly get the V11 Pro with 6GB at a cheaper rate.
