Few months ago, Chinese Smartphone makers, Vivo mobile launched the the X23 mobile phone but today, they are unveiling the Symphony Edition of that particular phone, it is the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition!
The phone comes with a lot of different specifications, and features. Comparing the both phones together, – Vivo X23 Symphony Edition vs the standard and regular Vivo X23, you will find a lot of difference in specs and features. For instance, the processor and camera are way different.

Design and Display
The newly launched Vivo X23 Symphony Edition isn’t just different in specs, from the standard model. But the price is lesser and economically priced than the original X23. Although, last month, the company also announced the Vivo X23 Star Edition.
Vivo 23 Symphony Edition sports a tall 6.41-inch Super AMOLED Full-HD+ 19.5:9 display, that shows awesome display high-end and top-end display at screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the whole lot of this isn’t different from the original Vivo X23.
Under the screen display, it is embedded with fingerprint sensor, that is the reason, you won’t find any fingerprint at the back of the phone. And it is available in two gradient color options – Arctic Morning and Starry Night Ocean. Well, the regular model didn’t arrive with any of the above colors.
Camera and connectivity
Moving ahead to the cameras, the Vivo 23 Symphony Edition arrives with much more reputable cameras sensors at the front, where you will see a 24.8 mega-pixels with f/2.0 lens. Surprisingly, the regular X23 arrived with 12MP sensor. It is a respected feature.
Although the aperture still remains the same, another similar specs is the amazing dual camera setup at the back, which consists of the main 12-megapixels primary sensor with f/1.8 lens + a secondary 13-megapixels sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
The secondary sensor at the back also supports 125-degree super wide-angle lens. It sports other network and connectivity features, such as dual-SIM feature, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 (with aptX), GPS, microUSB port, 3.5 mm audio jack, GLONASS, and OTG support.
Performance and Battery
As for the processor performance of the Smartphone, it is powered by a 12nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which is downsized but still captivating. It is smaller than the Vivo X23’s Snapdragon 670 SoC processor.
It comes with a high-end 6GB of RAM, and also smaller than the 8GB of RAM, available on the Vivo X23 mobile phone. The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition comes with a 128GB of inbuilt storage, and Vivo refuses to add the expandable memory storage.
The handset is It packs the same 3,400mAh battery capacity, and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based on the company’s Funtouch OS. The smartphone is currently available for pre-order on the Vivo’s China website. However, the smartphone will go on sale on November 23 and will be priced at CNY2,798 / $400.
For reference purpose, the regular Vivo X23 goes on sale for 3498 yuan / $512, that means the newly launched variants is cheaper and affordable but it still retains other top-end features, such as in-display fingerprint sensor scanner and there is the 6GB of RAM also.
