The Vivo X21 and X21 UD will available in Aurora White, Black, and Ruby Red and dual cameras. Vivo announced two phones, the Vivo X21 and the another variant of the phone named Vivo X21 UD (Screen Fingerprint sensor). The X21 UD as the successor to X20 Plus UD with the X21, arrive with bezel-less screens, dual cameras, facial technology.
Among other differences and similarities, the X2I arrives with rear fingerprint sensor while the X20 UD still arrive with under-display fingerprint sensor, but apart from the differences in fingerprint sensor, every other thing is the same, probably made by the Synaptics Clear ID FS9500.
The Vivo X21 UD is the third smartphone from the company that uses an in-screen fingerprint reader. The design is something to write home about. Although, there is a little change on the display design, now, we have the Notch display on the new X21 and X21 UD family. Lets take a look at the key specs;

Design and Display
The newly launched Vivo X21 and X21 UD Android Smartphone arrives with spectacular design, you might have a notch design issue but it looks good on both phones although, Android phones aren’t prepared for the notch era until the launch of the Android 9.0 P.
The Vivo X21 and X21 UD packs a huge 6.28′ inches with 19:9 screen and a high 1080 x 2280 screen resolution pixels and a 402 PPI density. They are both slim, curved, sleek, flexible and light on hand with comfortable grip and has ultra narrow bezels around the display
The slim notch display houses the front selfie camera, sensor and the speaker and it is available on both phones. Comes with premium design, having the Front glass build and aluminum body. Well, as already specified, the X21 comes with fingerprint on the back while the other doesn’t.
Camera and Connectivity
The new Smartphones comes with dual camera setup at the back which consists of a 12-megapixel camera lens f/1.8 and a 5-megapixel secondary lens f/2.4 with an LED flash, which is effective for bokeh and portrait modes.
On the front side, there’s a 12-megapixel camera sensor for taking selfies and video calling. The camera comes with Face Wake 2.0 feature, Artificial Intelligence and Vivo’s own Rubiks Cube technology.
On the front facing camera, it houses the face unlock feature. You can take amazing pictures with your back and selfie camera. There is the connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, 3.5mm audio port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual-band Wi-Fi (2X2MIMO), Bluetooth v5, GPS, microUSB and hybrid dual-SIM slot.

They both comes with similar specs, it is powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor with Adreno 512 GPUclocked at 2.2GHz.
And packs 6GB RAM and comes in two storage options — 64GB and 128GB on the X21 while the X21 UD comes with 128GB version only and they both supports microSD card slot that expandable up to 256GB.
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Funtouch OS 4.0 custom skin on top. Which is capable of boasting your phone performance to a higher level and your battery life.
Battery and Security
Both versions of the phone are fueled by a 3,200mAh battery and there is fast charging technology available. The company promises a huge battery life.
On the security aspect, the both phones comes with facial recognition and other other traditional security, where you have the passwords, pin, pattern but the X21 features the rear fingerprint sensor while the X21 UD comes with in-display fingerprint sensor.
The company has introduced Jovi, it is a smart Vivo assistant based on artificial intelligence technology. For enhanced audio experience, Vivo has included AK4376A Hi-Fi chip.
Pricing and Availability
As aforementioned, the Vivo X21 is available in two variants:
– 6GB RAM with 64GB storage; priced at $460, CNY 2,898 (Rs. 29,870) and
– 6GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at $505, CNY 3,198 (Rs. 32,960).
– The X21 UD only has one model: with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is also priced at $570, CNY 3,598 (Rs. 37,085. You can now pre-book any of these two straight from Vivo’s website.
The Vivo X21 will be available in China from March 24th, 2018, whereas the Vivo X21 UD will be available from March 28th, 2018.
