After announcing the Vivo V17 PRO in India sometime ago, the Chinese tech giant has introduced the V17 in Russia. The Vivo V17 comes with a Vivo S5-like Quad rear camera setup.
The company recently announced the S1 Pro smartphone at an event in the Philippines but the new Vivo V17 smartphone comes as a re-branded Vivo S1 Pro smartphone in Russia.
On the other hand, the Vivo V17 PRO comes with slight differences in specs, which includes the screen display, processor chipset, a third camera lens, battery and a dual selfie snapper.

The Vivo V17 is definitely an amazing piece of device, it sports a 6.38-inch FULL HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio Super AMOLED notch display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
V17 screen display boasts of 90% screen-to-body ratio, which explains the minimal bezels around the display. It comes in Blue Fog, Cloud Blue color options and in-display fingerprint scanner.
At the back of the phone sits a diamond-shaped module QUAD rear camera lens, which is quite similar to the Vivo S5. And there is a notch design with 32-megapixels front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, which sits at the top of the screen.
The rear cameras includes the main 48-megapixels camera lens with f/1.8 aperture, 8-megapixels ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture, 2-megapixels as macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and the in-depth 2-megapixels sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
Vivo provided a lot of camera features such as Gesture control, Voice control, Professional mode, Slow motion, HDR, Bokeh, Panorama, and many more others.
Under the hood, the Vivo V17 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB of LPPDDR4x RAM with 128GB internal storage.
It runs on Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. It is fueled by a massive 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support through USB Type-C port.
Since, it was officially released in Russia, the Vivo V17 is priced at Russian RUB 22,990, ($359). It is currently available to pre-order in Russia, pre-book before December 5th, and get a Vivo Y11 (2019) for free.
However, the company hasn’t said anything concerning the launch and availability outside the Russian markets yet. Which means, it may or may not launch outside the country.
