Finally, Chinese Giant announces the Vivo V11 Android powered Smartphone with in-display fingerprint sensor and the trending notch shape, which is mounted at its traditional top front.
From all aspect of view, Vivo might not introduce the V10 device. Hence, the Vivo V11 smartphone is the successor to the earlier released V9 and it comes with a slimmed and thin notch display. Vivo calls its “Halo Fullview Display.”

Design and Display
For the past month, it is surprisingly to find out that the v-shaped notch display has been trending for Oppo mobile company. Oppo took it extreme by bringing in three (R17 Pro, F9, and F9 Pro) devices that comes with the profound notch display.
The Chinese company, Oppo called the v-shaped notch display, “Waterdrop Screen,” but Vivo called it “Halo Fullview Display.” There are huge differences between the notch display, but presumably, it might be the smallest ever! Commonly, we all call it “teardrop notch”.

The screen display is technically awesome and quite spotless, Vivo debuts as the first Smartphone makers to introduce 100% bezel-less display smartphone. Well, the new V11 is basically a simple device with almost full screen tech. Recall that in-glass fingerprint sensor is the company trademark.
The phone arrives with a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a 1080pixels, for high-quality resolution. Oh yes, it is OLED screen, after all in-display fingerprint scanning technology only works with OLED screens. And it serves as the first in V-series, after the V9‘s LCD Panel.
The newly launched device boasts of a 91.27% screen-to-body-ratio, but still allows a simple bezels at the bottom edge and a chin. Comes with a reputable colors options, there is the gradients and patterned finishing – Starry Night and Nebula Fusion.
Which offers a glittering shiny effect, it is more of impeccable design but comes with a plastic body, rear curved glass design and a clear rubber case inside the box.
Camera and Connectivity
The phone is among the amazing built devices with a conspicuous and powerful 25-megapixels selfie snapper. Vivo has wide-range of devices with the 25MP but the V11’s 25-megapixels with f/2.0 lens is enhanced with AI -for scene detection, recognizes objects and things, like crops, plants, animals etc.
There’s a dual-sensor camera on the rear of the Vivo V11 that combines a 12-megapixels f/1.8 lens with a 5-megapixels camera f/2.4 lens. Which can deliver a glossy and spotless photos. The camera setup was adequately presents in Vivo X21 and Vivo Nex S.
There is also a face-unlocking feature that is called Face Access and both security measures work together. Everything is embedded on the top notch display. And comes with a handful of network and connectivity features. There is micro-USB port instead of a USB Type-C.
Performance and Battery
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset running up to 2.2GHz Octa-core processor. It comes with Adreno 512 GPU for the game graphic control performance and a powerful 6GB of RAM for seamless multitasking.
The Vivo V11 is equipped with 128GB inbuilt storage, and fueled by a non-removable 3400mAh battery with 18W quick-charging support. The Vivo V11 runs Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
The OS of the vivo V11 is Funtouch 4.5, based on Android Oreo 8.1. The new version of the UI has Jovi AI Engine for allocating CPU and memory resources for a more efficient usage, which should give you improved battery life and faster app performance.
This is the first time, a V11 will be coming to other markets outside of China. V11 is coming to India and Thailand first. The pricing isn’t official, but the costs range is around Rs. 30,600, which is N155,000 in Nigeria currency.
