Vivo S7e 5G officially unveiled in its hometown, China with MediaTek Dimensity 720 7nm processor and it comes in three gradient paint jobs, offering Mirror Black, Phantom Blue, and Silver Moon options.
The Vivo S7e 5G pricing has not been revealed, but the company mentioned that the costs of the phone’s single variant will be made public on one of the biggest shopping holidays in China, which is the 11th of November, Singles’ Day.
For such a handset, the specifications and features are impressive. At the front, it brings a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, which supports a 1080 pixels screen resolution.
Embedded inside the display is its fingerprint scanner, features 161 × 74.04 × 7.73mm dimension, ensuring slimmer and thinner bezels. It weighs 171.7g, which is not considered lightweight in this era.
On top of the display is a waterdrop notch that houses a single 32-megapixels front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture with impressive camera features. Where the Vivo Y73 5G comes with a 16-megapixels selfie shooter.
At the back is a triple camera setup, where the main sensor is the f/1.89 64-megapixels rear camera with LED flash, it is supported by an f/2.2 8-megapixels 120° wide-angle camera and 2-megapixels portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture.
When it comes to comparison, the new Vivo S7e 5G has is slightly identical to the Vivo Y73 5G that was introduced last month. Similarities include the processor, memory, and camera placement.
When it comes to the camera, the ultrawide sensor and depth/portrait sensor are identical, while the main shooter differs, the new S7e 5G support a 64-megapixels sensor, while the Y73 5G with 48-megapixels support.
Other features include a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS + GLONASS as its connectivity.
The Vivo S7e is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 720 7nm processor offering dual 2GHz Cortex-A76 + Hexa 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs with Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. It comes in a single 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage.
It runs on Android 10 OS out of the box, with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 10.5 skin on top. The new device is fueled by a 4100mAh battery with 33W fast charging through USB Type-C.
