Finally, the Vivo S5 is now official with 6.44-inch Full HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display, 32-megapixel in-screen front camera, 8GB of RAM, and it is powered by a Snapdragon 712 SoC.
The mobile phone was announced in China. And it sports incredible specifications and features. You can see the diamond-shaped rear camera setup and 3D curved back design.
Anyways, before the official launch, the Vivo S5 Android powered Smartphone had been rumored severally. But it sports some cool premium top-end specs, slightly similar to Vivo S1 PRO.

The Vivo S5 arrives with a 3D curved back design that comes with a gradient finish, available in Black, Blue and Light Blue colors options.
Sports a tall 6.44-inch Full HD+ 20:9 AMOLED display, 1200 nits of brightness, and boasts of 91.38% screen-to-body ratio, which explains the slim 2.98mm bottom bezels.
It also comes with in-display fingerprint sensor scanner, and a hole-punch at the top-left screen display which houses the single 32-megapixel in-screen selfie camera with an f/2.45 lens.
While the diamond-shaped rear camera setup includes, the main 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens that has 120-degree of field of view (FoV).
While the other two camera lens are 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.48 lens and 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. Supports LED flash.
The Vivo S5 is completely powered by an Octa Core Snapdragon 712 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU, coupled with 8GB LPPDDR4x RAM, 128GB / 256GB storage and runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box.
It is backed by a moderate 4100mAh battery capacity, and supports 22.5W Vivo Flash Charge flash charging. The company says, it can lets you charge up to 50% in half an hour.
Anyways, the device is available in two major variants and the base model, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage costs 2698 yuan ($384), while the premium 8GB + 256GB storage variants goes for 2998 yuan ($427).
In China, users can order the Vivo S5 from November 15 but will start hitting on shelves from November 22nd in China. In addition to that, Vivo’s Multi-Turbo technology can also enhance gaming performance on the smartphone. Which is kinda cool!
