It was officially launched in China, the company added the mobile phone to their latest S-series. And this is the PRO version of the main Vivo S1.

The Vivo S1 PRO comes with better camera lens, boosted performance, smaller battery capacity, in-display fingerprint sensor, and bigger storage options.

Vivo S1 Pro

Design and Display

Recall that the Vivo S1 debuts as the first phone under the S-family, and the company expanded the family by adding the Vivo S1 PRO.

Anyways, it arrives with a gradient finish at the back panel, and it is a notch-less Smartphone, featuring true-bezel-less screen display.

The handset comes with a 6.39-inch Full-HD+ (2340×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5.9. But there is a chin at the bottom display.

Features a triple rear camera setup aligned vertically, and a pop-up selfie sensor. While the volume and power buttons are housed on the right edge, then a dedicated Jovi personal assistant hardware button on the left edge.

Unlike the original Vivo S1 with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, the S1 PRO comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor scanner. The phone comes in Love Blue and Coral Red colour options.

Camera and Connectivity

Like most phones out there, the Vivo S1 PRO also sports an AI triple rear camera, with a single selfie shooter housed in the pop-up mechanism.

The pop-selfie snapper sports a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It can lifts up in 0.68s, and the company touted stronger panels.

While the back panel holds the triple rear camera setup, which consists of the main 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.78 aperture, a second 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a third 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

Comes with numerous camera features such as Panorama, beauty, photo, video, and AR shoot. Anyways, it supports Dual SIM with dual standby, WiFi, VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS with GLONASS, and a MicroUSB port2.0.

Performance and Battery

The Vivo S1 PRO is built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC coupled with preferable GPU, paired with 8GB of RAM. While the regular SI comes with 6GB RAM.

However, the company is offering the Vivo S1 PRO internal storage up to 256GB internal storage, and you can easily expand it further using a micro SD card slot (up to 256GB).

In order to keep the phone on, it is backed by a 3,700mAh battery capacity, and runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie OS out of the box.
