Vivo Nex 2 has been launched as the Vivo Nex Dual Smartphone. It arrives with dual screen display, Snapdragon 845 processor, 10GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, powered by a 3500mAh capacity.
Later on, there is the dual screen Smartphone, Nubix X and Vivo thinks this is the best option, they had to announce the Nex Dual Smartphone.

Design and Display
The Vivo Nex Dual arrives with bunch of spectacular specs, features, intriguing design and flawless body build. And the dual screen seems to be the main feature here.
It comes with a unique dual screen, which isn’t ground breaking, or first of a kind. But it aims at different customers choice – a notch or true full screen display?
The main display of the phone is 6.39-inches 1080p 19.5:9 Super AMOLED display, and there is another secondary display of 5.49-inch 1080p 16:9 Super AMOLED display.
However, this Smartphones – Nubia X and Nex Dual are known to completely avoid and remove the notch, motorized pop-up, and front-facing camera. But the Vivo Nex Dual is offering something more exquisite.
The Nubia X second screen just acts as a viewfinder but you can use the Vivo Nex Dual second screen as your main official display. Vivo boasts of 91.63% on the phone’s front.
The Vivo NEX Dual Display Edition was officially unveiled at a special event in Shanghai. It can be used in two main option, -your main screen, or -as a touch panel for gaming.
Don’t worry, Vivo incorporated the in-display fingerprint sensor right into the screen. After all, they are the first first commercial company to introduce the in-display fingerprint sensor feature.
Camera and connectivity
Firstly, the Vivo Dual Nex arrives with a dual screen display, which means that, there is just camera for both selfies and photo shots from the back.
It comes with a 12-megapixel primary camera backed with a 2-megapixel secondary module, and there’s also a third f/1.3 lens paired with a time of flight (TOF) 3D module
The 3D module isn’t new, but Vivo says the TOF 3D camera adds point-to-point distance measuring and secure facial recognition to unlock the rear display.
You can possibly use it for personalized beautification. The flight 3D sensor is for depth sensing and 3D face unlock, and takes better photos at low-light.
You might have noticed the ring round the camera module, it is called “Lunar Ring” there is multiple LEDs embedded in its. It is used specially for night selfies.
When taking any shots, it gives you a ring flashlight, and it beautifies the phone. Providing an alluring decorative flashy and attractive design.
It comes with 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, a USB Type-C (v2.0) port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, as it network and connectivity options.
Performance and Battery
We just had the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition with 10GB of RAM, but here is the Vivo Nex Dual with the same 10GB of RAM. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The phone comes with a moderate 128GB of internal storage, which is fairly and considerably good but a higher 256GB or 512GB storage would be appreciable. It doesn’t come with expanded micro SD card.
However, Vivo is promising dual-turbo management for the RAM. The handset comes with 3500mAh battery capacity, which supports 22.5W fast charging, and it isn’t bad!
It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with the company’s Funtouch OS 4.5 skin on top.
Price of Vivo Nex Dual
Right now, the Vivo Nex Dual Display Edition is available for pre-order in China starting today, and it goes for 4,998 yuan / $720.
However, the phone will become officially available December 29. For now, there is no word on making the Nex Dual available internationally.
