  1. These WISE customer comments/messages are most enlightening! Thank you for posting them. I was considering opening a WISE account. Now I see it would be totally frustrating … a waste of my valuable time … and drive me close to insanity trying to resolve any problems that arose. When did so many businesses go from being customer driven to being the equivalent of ‘dictators’ with no value on their customers or their customers’ time? Thank goodness I did some research first.

    I am respectfully requesting that the hold on my funds/account be lifted. I am not necessarily requesting that my account be re-opened or allowed to continue to use the Wise service, as I have already taken my business to your largest competitor and I am no longer in need of WISE’s services.

    I have previously requested a review/appeal of my case which was denied. Although I still disagree with the decision to deny my appeal I will abide by it – however, because I feel that holding my funds for for a non-fraudulent violation of WISE’s Acceptable Use Policy is excessive, and perhaps a punitive abuse of power, I will be filing complaints with the following agencies on Wednesday morning, 30 FEBRARI 2023, if I am not satisfied with WISE’s response to this request to release my funds:

    All complaints will be filed “online” Wednesday morning 30 FEBRARI 2023 and written copies will also be sent via certified postal mail.

    I understand WISE’s need for holding funds for credit card chargeback purposes, however a review of my account history for the last year will reveal a very low chargeback rate as well as a very high customer-satisfaction rate. I feel that any reasonable person would conclude that holding my entire is excessive and my be viewed by some as punitive or as already stated, an unnecessary abuse of power and perhaps even contrary to the laws of some states.

    Please be aware that replying with the standard “this is part of the terms of service that you agreed to” will not satisfy my request, or deter me from filing my complaints with the agencies listed above on the morning of 30 FEBRARI 2023. It will be up to those agencies to determine if WISE is operating within the law, abusing power, etc. I am simply seeking a resolution that is fair and in the best interest of both parties.

  3. My friend inadvertently wire money using Transfer wise US SWIFTCODE for a vendor with bank account in Belgium. Our bank confirmed that the swift was acknowledge instead of returned because it does not match Is this something your bank will be routing from branch to branch?

  4. What’s the point of having a hotline when it’s not manned on weekends when you need WISE in an emergency… My WISE card has been skimmed and scammed for 6,000 baht but unable to contact WISE to resolve the issue…

    Computers are good but can’t fix a problem when a major issue happens…

    I have since cancelled the card….

  7. I did a transfer of $1005 from Australia to Thailand using Manoova bsb 802-985 account 7176656207 and my transaction ID is #372198959,i completed the transaction on the 1st of March at aproxamately 10 am via bank transfer.
    Wise had advised me of there new bsb and account and the transfer usually takes no more than 8 hours to be in my account but they haven”t even advised me of receiving the sent money as yet,can someone help me so i don”t loose my money.
