Tecno officially introduces its latest Smartphone – Tecno Spark Go 2021 with a 6.52-inch display, 5000mAh battery, and it is powered by an Helio A20 processor.
Recently, Tecno keeps introducing a Go edition device as a part of its Spark series year. Starting from 2019, we saw the first Spark Go, and another by 2020.
This is 2021, and we are seeing another one again. As expected, the Spark Go 2021 is also another Go edition Smartphone, as it runs on HiOS 6.2 based on the Android 10 Go Edition.
It comes in three colors, Maldives Blue, Horizon Orange, and Galaxy Blue options. It is 9.1mm thick and comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted at the back panel.
It is popularly known that phones with “Go” are generally known as ‘entry-level’ handsets. Well, the 2021 Spark Go isn’t different from these phones.
On that note, it is also safe to say that the Tecno Spark Go 2021 isn’t even different from the 2020 model. Yea, it might be slightly different from the 2019 model.
The company just took the Tecno Spark Go 2020 and renamed it Tecno Spark Go 2021. The display, cameras, battery, and even the processor are just the same.
On the front is a 6.52-inch 720pixels HD+ display with 480 nits brightness and a water-drop notch display that houses a single 8-megapixels selfie camera.
While on the left-back panel is three holes, with an f/1.9 13-megapixels and secondary AI lens dual camera, and the other lens is for dual-LED support.
Even the processor chipset and memory configuration are the same, you are also seeing the same 1.8GHz Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A20 processor.
Available in a single 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage, which is fortunately expandable up to 256GB through a dedicated microSD card slot.
It comes with Dual SIM, nano + nano + microSD, and the connectivity options includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
The TECNO Spark Go 2021 sports the same 5000mAh battery capacity that draws power from the micro-USB port. The company did not mention the fast charging capacity.
Tecno Spark Go 2021 Price
The handset was officially introduced in India, it goes right now at Rs. 6,699 ($90/37, 000 Naira but will later bounce back to Rs. 7,299 ($98/40,400 naira).
After the launch, the handset will be available from Amazon India and might later be available in Nigeria online/offline stores.
