The company has finally expanded their Spark series with an unprecedented device and yes, say hello to the Tecno Spark 2. The important notification here is the fact that the company is categorizing the Spark 2 under the 18:9 full screen view display.
The Tecno Spark family has been one amazing series that fetches a lot of profit for the Chinese company, Tecno mobile. And one salient feelings that I usually get, whenever I set my eyes on any Spark series, I usually think of the flashy, sassy looking design like that of Apple iPhone.
And not only that anyways, the Spark 2 proudly runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition), joining the likes of the Tecno F1, Itel A32F, and others. But the revolutionized Spark 2 definitely sparkles me a lot. The battery capacity is incomparable to other Android GO edition.

Design and Display
The device arrives with a plastic meets metallic design, and it looks more shiny and classic than most Android Go device out there.
The tall 6’inches LCD display is accompanied with a 18:9 aspect ratio, this allows the phone to feature a wide-screen and full screen display. The bezels are much more slimmer anyways.
There is a 2.5D curved glass screen protection, and it arrives with a 76.73 % screen-to-body ratio. The phone is available in four different colors; Bordeaux Red, Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, City Blue.
Camera and Connectivity
The phone packs a fingerprint sensor at the back with a single 13-megapixels f/2.0 camera lens with a rear three-ring flash.
While on the front, the phone sports a 8-megapixels f/2.0 camera, which is enhanced with Mix Flash 2.0 and a front dual flash plus Mix Filling Light, with this, the selfie snapper can take crystal clear pictures.
And give it a fulfilling purpose, the handset uses 3D facial detection, and bokeh effect to the artistic portrait shots. The premium feature is the use of Apple’s Face ID Unlock, that ensures that your face is a password to unlocking it but it may not be as powerful as that of iPhone.
But it lacks a 4G LTE for faster network connection, so you’ll be forced to use the 3G network. Others includes a WiFi, Bluetooth v4.2 and many other network and connectivity.
Performance and Battery
The device comes in two variants, 1GB of RAM and 2GB of RAM. The 1GB of RAM runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition), while the 2GB RAM runs on standard Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
