Tecno Pova Neo 5G launched with 120Hz display and Dimensity 810 chipset

Tecno officially announced yet another 5G Android Smartphone in the company’s Pova series – Tecno Pova Neo 5G is the latest mobile phone, with MediaTek’s Dimensity 810 chipset running through its software and a wide and broad 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen display.

The Tecno Pova Neo 5G was unveiled by Transsion India, and the company will be pricing the Smartphone for Rs. 15, 499, which is around $191 USD. The Tecno Pova Neo 5G comes in Sapphire Black and Sprint Blue colors options.

Let’s break the ice from the display, it arrives with a broad 6.8-inch display offering 1080 pixels with FHD+ display. The display supports 550nits brightness, and up to 120Hz refresh rate, allow smooth scrolling with 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Around the plastic back panel is a two large camera sensor, there’s the main 50-megapixels main camera with f/1.6 aperture, alongside a secondary AI sensor and Quad LED Flash support. On the front is an 8-megapixels camera for taking selfies.

It arrives with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is a common standard features for such range of Smartphone, it is 9.47mm and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers with DTS audio. It support 5G SA/NSA (13 5G bands), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.

The Tecno Pova Neo 5G is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, it’s a 6nm processor with Dual 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 and Hexa 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for better graphic performance.

It is available in 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 3GB of virtual RAM with memory fusion technology, with 128GB eMCP storage, and support expandable memory up to 1TB with microSD. It runs Android 12 with Tecno’s HiOS 8.6 layered on top.

The Pova 5G sports a magnetic 6000mAh battery capacity with a standard 18W fast charging, which draws power from USB Type-C connector. It brings Dual SIM support also. Starting from 26th September 2022, it’ll be available for sale while direct pre-order is on via Tecno India website.
