Tecno POVA 3 officially announced with Helio G88 chipset with up to 6GB RAM

This is the Tecno POVA 3, the company’s latest Smartphone in its POVA series. It is powered by a MediaTek processor. Tecno has some amusing specifications and features under its sleeve for the POVA series, and the new POVA 3 isn’t exempted.

Inside the phone, the POVA 3 is completely driven by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, it’s a 12nm processor with Dual 2GHz Cortex-A75 + Hexa 2GHz 6x Cortex-A55 CPUs alongside ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU @ 1000MHz for faster software performance.

It comes in two major memory configurations, there’s 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB internal storage, features 5GB of additional virtual RAM, and also supports memory expansion up to 256GB with microSD.

On the front is a 6.9-inch 1080 pixels with HD+ Dot-in display, which brings up to a 90Hz refresh rate, enabling faster smooth scrolling, the edges are smooth, and it arrives in Tech Silver, Eco Black, and a special Electric Blue variant.

However, the other color options are glowing but the special Electric Blue variant has an added LED light energy belt with a luminous indicator for notifications, calls, charging games, and other interactive scenes.

The Tecno POVA 3 packs a triple rear camera setup, featuring a primary 50-megapixels f/1.79 sensor, 2-megapixels depth sensor and AI Lens alongside Quad LED flash support. On the front is an 8-megapixels f/2.0 selfie snapper with dual LED flash.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dual SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, Stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and packs a 7000mAh battery with 25W charging and is equipped with a 33W charger that can charge up to 50% in 40 minutes via USB Type-C.

The Tecno POVA 3 pricing starts from Rs. 11,499 (around N59,999  Nigerian Naira) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage costs Rs. 12,999 (around N67,730  Nigerian Naira). The company mentioned that the phone is already available for purchase.

  1. I find it difficult to restore factory in my phone because of security plugin and if I want to deactivate it the deactivate button is not clear it shows that I can’t deactivate.
    Please help me how can I disable it when appears like that ? Is there any other way?
    Please you let me know.Thanks
