TECNO PHANTOM X
It arrives with what is fairly expected. We are having good camera hardware here, impressive display and software features are perfect also.
On the front, the Phantom X arrives with a 6.7” SuperAMOLED 3D curved screen panel, support for a 90Hz refresh rate with a 1080p+ resolution (19.5:9).
These are definitely the traits of a premium device, and the display panel arrives with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back of the device.
With its borderless display, the Phantom X is 8.72mm thick, which offers a slimmer and thinner panel. It comes in Starry Night Blue and Monet’s Summer colors.
It comes with an AMOLED display, which keeps the fingerprint reader built into the display and promises to unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds.
The Phantom X comes with a triple rear camera setup, offering a 50-megapixels main lens, 13-megapixels 50mm portrait camera, and an 8-megapixels lens.
The f/1.85 50-megapixels sensor comes with a large 1/1.3” sensor with 1.2µm native pixels up to 2.4µm with binning. This sensor has Dual pixels and Laser autofocus.
While the 13-megapixels telephone lens marks a historic day for TECNO, as this is the first tele lens on a Tecno phone. It has a 2x magnification over the main lens.
Lastly on the plate is an 8-megapixels 120º ultrawide-angle lens, and these cameras are arranged vertically on the rear panel and backed by quad-LED flash support.
On the front, it got a dual hole-punch which hosts a single primary 48-megapixels front camera, 8-megapixels 105º ultra-wide camera which supports dual LED flash.
To present the Phantom X as a top-end Smartphone, TECNO avoided that unwanted camera lens, such as depth sensors or “AI” cameras. Tho, there has been a similar case on other Tecno’s phones.
Powering the Phantom X is the well-known MediaTek Helio G95 12nm processor, which has been powering up most Infinix HOT series Smartphones.
However, the chipset’s CPU arrives with a Dual 2.05GHz A76 and Hexa 2GHz A55 CPUs coupled with 900MHz Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU.
