Tecno F2 LTE offers faster browsing and runs on Android Oreo GO

Tecno mobile launched a handful of Smartphones during the April 2018 Global Spring launch. And they also launched their first Android device to run on Google’s Oreo Go Edition, it was the F1 handset. This is the Tecno F2 LTE mobile phone.

Along the launch, they announced the F2 and F3, which is also known as POP 1 and the pro version but today, they quite surprised everyone with another amazing new catch, it is the F2 LTE.

The Tecno F2 LTE Android Smartphone is one of the best device out there that competes with other Android Oreo GO Edition smartphones such as ZTE Tempo Go, Alcatel 1x. Tecno is really looking forward to rival with international smartphone brands.

Design and Display

The phone packs some huge differences and similarities from the F2 handset. Everything on the design and display is definitely the same, it still offers the 5.0′ FWVGA 16:9 aspect ratio big screen with 854 x 480pixels but it brings a more preferable bright display.

On the front, the phone comes with the selfie snapper and the LED flash and the physical navigating buttons are still there but on the back, there is a slight upgrade, the F2 LTE packs a fingerprint sensor scanner, so that means, you can now keep your smartphone secured with your fingerprint.

And the company logo boldly sit on the back under the sensor and there is the back speaker on the left bottom. And it is available in Black, Gold and Blue colours.

Camera and Connectivity

On the camera aspect, they differs a lot. The F2 LTE features a dual 5-megapixels, one at the front and the other at the back but the F2 packs a 2-megapixels. The 5-megapixels selfie shooter is enhanced with single LED camera, for taking vivid selfies for your social media account.

While on the back, there is a 5-megapixels shooter with Dual Flash that can take shiny pictures even at night. Basically, the F2 LTE brings the beauty in you and brings more light to your face.

The network and connectivity packs the GSM, WCDMA, LTE, EDGE, GPRS, WiFi and BT v4.2. Unlike the F2, the F2 LTE is enabled with Dual SIM that supports 4G LTE fast browsing technology, it allows you to browse the internet, download and stream online videos at a more faster rate.

Performance and Battery

The F2 LTE comes with a preferable processor performance. It is powered by a 1.28 GHz Quad-Core processor and that is much more faster than the 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor on F2 but there is the same 1GB of RAM.

That said, the F2 LTE would be much more faster and smoother at optimizing the phone and it allows you to play intensive games, stream movies and much more without any lagging.

It arrives with 8GB of internal storage and is expandable up to 32GB via Micro SD card slot. It runs on Android 8.1 (Go edition) OS with the company’s HiOS  on top. that means, the phone is optimized to run on lighter-weight apps.

The handset is fueled by a 2400mAh battery capacity, that is bigger than the 2000mAh on F2 but it still doesn’t come with fast charging technology.

What is the Price of Tecno F2 LTE?

The Tecno F2 LTE is the company second phone to run Android Oreo (Go Edition) operating system, the F1 was the first and sooner or later, the Spark 2 would be the third. The phone is priced within the range of N30k – N45k per unit!

There is one thing you should know, Tecno mobile company are definitely expanding the F-series with ultra-cheap smartphones series!
