Tecno mobile also unveiled the Camon i2X, which looks more like the bigger variants of the standard Camon i2. Nevertheless, the recently launched Camon series are part of the company AI Smartphones.
Basically, Tecno Camon series targets the camera markets, they are known as the selfie-centric devices for the Chinese company. The Camon i2X packs a lot of similarities with the Camon i2 but the differences are notable.

The major differences between the Tecno Camon i2 and Camon i2X is the RAM, storage and processor, apart from this, every other details remains the same. The Camon i2X still arrives with the large 6.2” notch 19:9 aspect ratio display with 720 x 1500 resolution. But it is much more wider than the standard mobile phone.
The same poly-carbonate design, same selfie camera lens of 16-megapixels with f/2.0 Aperture and support for LED flash. While the dual back camera consist of the same 13-megapixels primary sensor with f/1.8 Aperture and 2-megapixels secondary sensor with f/2.4.
The cameras supports Auto Scene Detection (ASD) feature, AI Bokeh mode, AI Soft Light feature, AI Beauty Mode. Runs on the same Android 8.1 Oreo with HiOS 4 on top. Fueled by 3750mAh battery capacity, and supports Bluetooth 5.0, dual-SIM, dual-VoLTE, AI Face Unlock and Fingerprint sensor.
While the differences comes to the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is higher than the Camon i2 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. But the storage can still be expandable via micro SD card slot.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6762 chipset running at 2.0GHz Octa-Core processor. Which is slightly powerful than the Camon i2’s MT6761 2.0GHz Quad-Core processor. The Camon i2X is just a souped up version or an iteration of the Camon i2. The cost of the device is Rs.12,499, which is around N62,000 in Nigeria currency.
