It’s been almost two years since Samsung last released its flagship tablet. It seemed that these devices completely ceased to interest Samsung. Nevertheless, here is new Galaxy Tab S3.
The tablet runs on the Android 7.0 platform, is equipped with a high-performance Qualcomm processor. However, brand new is not always the best. If Android run device is not for you, there is a wide selection of other tablets available on https://jiji.ng/mobile-phones-tablets, the best marketplace for a dream purchase. And now, let’s see what the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has to offer.
The tablet is made in the latest top-end Samsung smartphones style – the back is black/white/grey glossy glass with slightly curved sides. The front panel is in black/white/grey color. Volume and sleep buttons are on the right side, while the headphone jack and USB-C port sit on the bottom. Fingerprint scanner is fast and responsive. ‘Back’ and ‘overview’ buttons sit on the bottom as usual. There are four speakers that are located around the tablet.
Galaxy Tab S3 has a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048 1536 pixels, that allows much richer colors and deeper blacks. There is HDR-enabled function, which is pretty much useless, unless you watch supported content.
The Galaxy Tab S3 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor running at 1.6 GHz and 2.15 GHz, depending on the setting and complemented by the graphics accelerator Adreno 530. Other characteristics of the Tab S3 platform include 4GB of operating and 32GB of internal memory. There is also microSD memory card support available, if you wish to extend its capacity.
S Pen Stylus
S Pen stylus comes in the box rather than as a pricey add-on. The S-pen stylus is included and needs no charging. It works the same way as any Galaxy Note — except that there’s no stylus storage in the tablet itself.
The main camera is 13-megapixel with f 1.9 aperture, autofocus and flash. As for the tablet, the images are of decent quality, but can not compete with latest smartphones. The camera focuses slowly, but this is unlikely to be a big problem, since you really shouldn’t be using a tablet for taking pictures. The front camera is 5-megapixel with f 2.2 aperture, and it is enough for selfie and video.
The built-in Galaxy Tab S3 battery has a capacity of 6000 mAh, which will take you through 1.5 days. The tablet supports fast charging technology. In 30 minutes it will charge battery from 0 to 23%. The charger connects to the Tab S3 via the USB Type-C port.
