What do you expect from a Samsung high-end flagship device, the best! The Galaxy Note 9 isn’t exempting that, the Galaxy Note 9 Android Smartphone comes with a realistic and futuristic design on the top and bottom of the handset. The bezels are equally slimmer, providing a more sophisticated premium feeling.
The Galaxy Note 9 might not be a budgeted Smartphone, but it entices and increases phone users experiences. Features a Matte aluminum frame with chamfered edges, and it also boasts of a giant 6.4 inches Super AMOLED Quad HD+ screen and it is slightly bigger than last year variants.
Monstrous device are really going down the lane, but the Galaxy Note 9 isn’t, there is still the big huge and might display. So, if you are looking for a smaller one-hand device with premium specs, kindly look away. The Galaxy Note 9 is a dauntless device, with DeX software.
The company enhanced the market selling points, with the new DeX software without a dock. To access it, you need to pluck an external display into the phone with an HDMI adapter, and there is no change on how the Note behaves with the DeX feature running.
Features other necessary Galaxy Note signatures, it is rated with IP68 certification, IP68 water and dust resistance, and thanks to heavens, Samsung retained the headphone jack and the dedicated Bixby button.
On the back, the fingerprint sensor sits below the dual cameras. The Note 9 will come in ocean blue (with a bright yellow S Pen), lavender purple, midnight black and metallic copper.
Imaging using a pen as a remote control for the handset
The Samsung device comes with S-pen, and that’s actually the main focus. Samsung even said it, “The S Pen is the signature feature of the Note series” The better the S-pen, the better the Note Phone. You can now do more than writing or drawing doddle on your screen, to a more powerful responsibility.
This is Samsung’s first S Pen to incorporate Bluetooth, remote control for selfies and presentations. To cuts the price down and make things much more easier, the Samsung S-pen don’t need batteries or plug it into a charger, it magnificently sit inside your phone.
But you still have the Note 8’s levels of pressure sensitivity, but you can customizes the S-pen to your taste. It comes with a whole lot of features like, pause / play musics, videos, use as slider, camera remote shutter and more. Developers also has a choice here, they can even integrate the S Pen’s new, advanced BLE functionalities into their apps later this year.
The Stylus pen acts as a remote control for the handset, that is unimaginable. You can stay 30 feet away and still use your phone, probably, to trigger your camera shutter, change slides in your presentation or skip to the next song on your playlist. That is handful!
Already aforementioned, the Galaxy Note 9 S-pen definitely keep your going all day long. You don’t need an external charger for your S-pen, with the built-in supercapacitor feature, sliding it into your phone dock, automatically recharges it under a minutes. And furthermore, a fully charge S-pen can do a lot more like 200 clicks, or stay 30minutes idle.
Galaxy A1 Camera
Getting noticed with how the Artificial Intelligence (AI) is gaining its world popularity? The Galaxy Note 9 with AI feature is definitely a thumps up. The Galaxy S9 camera was the worlds biggest camera phone but with the Samsung signature, Note 9, things might change a little bit.
Unless, we’ve got a minimalist or a lite version of Galaxy Note 9: I doubt the camera will be different from the Galaxy S9 Plus. Well, the Galaxy S9 Plus camera and Note 9, are actually the same. On the back of the device, there is a dual camera setup of two 12-megapixel cameras and dual-aperture of (f/1.5 or f/2.4), still boasts of wide-angle camera and dual Pixel autofocus.
Thankfully, both lenses have optical image stabilization but there is a drastic software and artificial intelligence camera upgrade. Huawei beats Apple to meet Samsung, they are now a huge competitor in the Smartphone. Samsung answered Huawei and LG with the Scene Optimizer.
It works perfectly, point your phone at what you want to capture, and the Note 9 Scene Optimizer will automatically detect what’s in the scene, it is programmed to identify up to 20 different scenarios such as Food, Flowers etc. After the object identification, it automatically enlightens the image with brightness, white balance and saturation.
And also, the Scene Optimizer also drops a little badge at the bottom of the viewfinder to show you what the phone recognized, that is an incredible performance. To determined a more preferred shots, Samsung brings in a new software program called Flaw Detection.
With the Flaw Detection feature, the Galaxy Note 9 will notify you if a shot was blurry, if someone blinked, or if an image was too backlit and blown out. And to make it perfect, it makes you take another awesome shots also. Other numerous Android phones makers has been taking a dive into this feature, but Samsung’s is way too far with the best!
Who will ever believe that Samsung would make a phone with water cooling system and a supercapacitator? It is the reality right now, anyways, the Galaxy Note 9 handset is definitely a super smart portable device with fearless processor performance. The Note 9 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo.
Much like the S9, the Galaxy Note 9 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with few GPU optimizations. According to Samsung, “Galaxy Note9 also includes an industry-leading and Samsung developed Water Carbon Cooling system and on-device AI-based performance adjusting algorithm to deliver powerful yet stable performance.”
But with the powerful cutting-edge 10nm 64-bit at 2.7 GHz + 1.7 GHz Octa-core processor, and the Water Carbon Cooling system, the Galaxy Note 9 is expected to provide a super-fast gaming session like popular battle royale game: the Fortnite. It is coming to Samsung device first.
Samsung’s custom software layer for the Note 9 is called Samsung Experience 9.5. The Note 9 arrives in two different variants, there is the 128GB / 6GB RAM model and the higher variants, 512GB / 8GB RAM version. That is a big different from the Galaxy Note 8 with 6GB RAM.
Largest Galaxy Note Battery
Say, hello to the new Galaxy Note 9 with huge and massive 4000mAh battery capacity. And yes, it is the first and largest Galaxy Note to come with 4000mAh battery capacity!
Sincerely, despite having the 4000mAh battery capacity on the Galaxy Note 9, the issue and terrible news with the Note 7 battery explosion is still ringing in their customers cell membrane.
But Samsung isn’t ready for any other upcoming conflicts, the batteries has been validated and certified by outside companies UL and Exponent.
It is much bigger and acceptable than the Galaxy Note 8 with 3300 mAh battery, and the Galaxy Note 9 thermal spreader here is three times larger than in the Note 8.
But it still comes with fast charging technology, and Samsung made a fast new dual wireless charger. You can make use of this new method to power up your Galaxy phone and probably, Galaxy watch at the same time. Samsung Wireless Charging Duo, which can charge two Qi-compatible devices at once over 15 watts, one on a baked-in stand and the other lying flat.
Notably, the new device comes with Fingerprint Sensor scanner, which is nicely placed under the camera lens. That is more preferred way of keeping the Fingerprint sensor than that of the Galaxy Note 8. Under the camera, makes the fingerprint sensor more accessible.
And also, the Galaxy Note 9 features two types of biometric Lock, there is the Iris Scanner, Fingerprint Scanner and Facial Recognition. But Samsung is doing perfectly in the security aspect of the phone, they are bringing in Intelligent scan, which Combines iris scan and face recognition.
Anyways, the Biometric lock allows more for convenient unlocking and in some cases provides enhanced security for certain authentication services, other form of security includes Pattern, Pin, Password.
