Samsung adds the Galaxy M21 to its budgeted M-series with 6000mAh

The South Korea tech giant, Samsung announces its latest affordable handset for the Indian market, it is the Samsung Galaxy M21 with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 48MP triple rear cameras, and 6000mAh battery capacity.

Before the official launch, there are a series of Samsung Galaxy M21 leaks and rumors around the web. It sports plastic body design, a vertically mounted triple rear camera setup.

Samsung introduced the Galaxy M31 last month, while the Galaxy M21 was announced recently. However, it is the successor to the last year’s Galaxy M20, with few differences and similarities.

It retains the 3.5mm audio jack, comes with Dolby Atmos, weighs 188g and 8.9mm thick. It sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor scanner and comes in a Midnight Blue and Raven Black colors option.

The Galaxy M21 packs a triple rear camera setup, the main 48-megapixels lens with LED flash, 8-megapixels 123° ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and the 5-megapixels depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Which is quite different from the Galaxy M31 QUAD-camera setup.

For selfies, the Infinity-U houses a single 20-megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture. But the Galaxy M31 packs a 32-megapixels selfie camera.

When comparing the M21 to the M31, you will understand that the screen display is identical, and they are both powered by the same Exynos 9611 SoC coupled with Mali-G72MP3 GPU.

You can also find the phone in two major options, either the 4GB/64GB or 6GB/128GB. But you can easily expand any of the following up to 512GB via microSD card slot.

It runs on Android 10-based One UI 2.0, and like other phones, it comes with Dual SIM mode, nano + nano / microSD. While the 6000mAh battery capacity with 15W fast charging that powers via USB Type-C keeps the light on the phone on.

For pricing, you can purchase the Galaxy M21 4GB/64GB model at Rs. 12,999 ($175) from March 23 via Amazon.in. While the other higher variants come at an additional price of Rs. 2000.
