The South Korean tech giant, Samsung launches its latest Smartphone with a gigantic battery capacity, – the Samsung Galaxy M12 mobile handset, and it sports an Infinity-V display with a 2GHz Octa-Core Exynos 850 processor.
Samsung Galaxy M12 was officially introduced in Vietnam and the latest in the company’s M series. The pricing and availability have not been revealed, but it comes in Attractive Black, Elegant Blue, and Trendy Emerald Green colors options.
Samsung said the back panel design material is specifically for easy handling, it is what the company is calling – micro motifs. It sports a meticulous design finish with a soft curve that allows easy handling and use of the phone.
On the front is a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, 20:9 aspect ratio for the 720 pixels screen resolution. With no AMOLED screen, the fingerprint is placed on the side which doubles as the power button.
It measures 164.0 x 75.9 x 9.7mm, weighs 221g, and comes with Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD). The Infinity-V display holds the 8-megapixels front camera with f/2.2 aperture and it supports the bokeh effect.
Around the back is the 48-megapixels primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and it can also record 1080p videos (at 30 fps). There is the 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera lens that can captures shots with a 123° field of view.
There is an additional 2-megapixels depth sensor that captures portrait photos, along with another 2-megapixels macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture to support the cause. It arrives with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
Samsung Galaxy M12 bears some major resemblance to the Galaxy A12 Smartphone. However, the Galaxy M12 is powered by an unknown 2GHz Octa-Core processor, which the rumors say is the Samsung’s 8nm processor, the Exynos 850 chips with Mali-G52 GPU.
It comes in three memory options, there is 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. If the inbuilt camera isn’t enough, you can easily expand up to 1TB via a MicroSD card slot.
It runs on Android 11 OS out of the box with the company’s skin OneUI 3 ontop. Impressively, the 6,000mAh battery capacity comes with support for 15W fast charging over USB-C. It promises 24 hours of web browsing on a single charge.
