Samsung unexpectedly unveiled an entry-level phone in Europe, Russia – Galaxy A12 Nacho with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, 48MP quad rear cameras, a 5000mAh battery and powered by an Exynos 850 processor.
The Galaxy A12 Nacho is just the Russian variant of the Galaxy A12 that was introduced last year’s December. There are a few changes to the specifications and features, such as the processor and one extra storage option.
Well, aside from this two defferential features, the Galaxy 12 Nacho is totally identical to the Galaxy A12. As expected, the A12 Nacho is available in four distinctive color options – Black, White, Blue and Red.
On the front, the Galaxy A12 Nacho comes with a 6.5-inch 720 pixels HD+ LCD Infinity-V display with a single 8-megapixels front camera with f/2.0 lens. Around the back panel, the device comes with QUAD camera setup.
The rear cameras setup includes a f/2.0 48-megapixels Samsung GM2 sensor with LED flash support, accompanied with 5-megapixels ultra-wide-angle lens, 2 -megapixels depth and 2-megapixels macro camera.
Connectivity option includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. Other features includes a power button on the side that doubles as fingerprint sensor, it is 8.8mm thin, weighs 205g and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, and support FM Radio.
When it comes to the power driven house, the Galaxy A12 Nacho is powered by Octa-Core 2GHz Exynos 850 8nm processor, coupled with with Mali-G52 while the last year’s Galaxy A12 was powered by MediaTek Helio P35 processor.
In addition, there’s an extra memory configuratiion, you’ve got the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and top-tier 4GB RAM with 128GB storage. Fortunately, you can easily expand any of the memory up to 1TB via micro SD card.
The Galaxy A12 Nacho runs Android 11 with Samsung One UI Core 3.1 and comes with support for Dual SIM. It is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging through USB Type-C connector.

The Galaxy A12 Nacho 3GB RAM / 32G storage variant costs RUB11,990 ($160), 4GB RAM / 64GB storage option goes for RUB13,990 ($175) and 4GB RAM / 128GB variant is priced at RUB16,990 ($190, around NGN78,200 Nigerian Naira).
Samsung is offering the Galaxy A12 Nacho on its Germany website, and it is also sold by third-party partners such as Beeline, MTS, and Megafon.
