Redmi Note 9 is now official and Redmi Note 9 PRO global variants has been unveiled. Both phones arrive with an FHD+ Dot display, QUAD rear camera, and 5020mAh battery capacity.
The newly announced Redmi Note 9 is for the global markets, and the first smartphone to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 8nm processor. You can find the phone in Forest Green, Polar White, and Midnight Grey colors option.
Redmi Note 9 comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, weighs 199g, and measures 95mm.
At the back of the phone are a 48-megapixel primary rear camera, 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel 2cm macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. While the dot notch display holds the 13-megapixel camera sensor.
The Redmi Note 9 comes in two variants, there is the 3GB RAM with 64GB, and 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 128GB internal storage, which you can expand up to 512GB with microSD slot.
It supports dual SIM, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC (optional) USB Type-C, and runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 out of the box.
To keep the light on, there is a 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The 3GB RAM with 64GB storage costs $199 and $249 for the 4GB RAM with a 128GB storage version.
On the other hand, we have the Redmi Note 9 Pro with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, DotDisplay with 16MP front camera.
While the glass back panel with Aura Balance design holds the 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor with f/1.89, EIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP 2cm macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4.
It can shoot 4k 30 fps video recording, and support pro video mode, kaleidoscope feature and slow-motion selfie feature. And supports dual SIM, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NavIC, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro comes in Tropical Green, Interstellar Grey, and Glacier White colors option, P2i coating, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, measures 8.8mm, and weighs 209g. It was introduced as Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India last month.
The Note 9 PRO is powered by Snapdragon 720G 8nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 618 GPU, 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD slot.
It runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 out of the box and inside is a massive 5020mAh battery with 30W fast charging. The Redmi Note 9 Pro 6GB RAM with 64GB storage costs $269 and $299 for the 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage version.
