Redmi Note 8 PRO comes with 64MP Quad-rear camera and Helio G90T

This is the Redmi Note 8 PRO with water-drop notch display, MediaTek Helio G90T 12nm processor with up to 8GB of RAM, Android 9.0 (Pie), 64MP rear camera, 20MP front camera, and 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Redmi Note 8 PRO was announced alongside with the new Note 8, both devices arrives with somewhat similar features, and other specs differentiation. We are definitely looking at the world’s first phone with the new gaming-focused MediaTek Helio G90T SoC.

The new mobile handset was officially unveiled in India, with other products such as Mi Air Purifier 2C and the MIUI 11 for India. It is also the successor to the previous Redmi Note 7 PRO.

Redmi Note 8 Pro

The Note 8 PRO comes with a 3D glass back curved on the four sides in Gamma Green, Halo White and Shadow Black colors options. It also has a splash resistant body with IP52 ratings.

It sports a waterdrop-notch 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with HDR support, 91.4% screen-to-body ratio with TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification. The bezels around the screen is quite considerable.

Like the Redmi Note 7 PRO with 48MP, the Note 8 PRO is topping up the game by bringing a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/1.7″ Samsung GW1 Sensor with ISOCELL Plus technology, 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for 2cm macro shots.

While the water-drop notch display design houses a single 20-megapixel camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture. But the Redmi Note 8 comes with 13MP selfie shooter. It arrives with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor scanner.

Comes with a built-in Alexa with dual wake word, runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10, upgradable to MIUI 11. It features connectivity options, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, IR blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
