The Redmi Note 7 Pro has been launched, as India’s exclusive Smartphone with 48MP camera, 128GB storage, and powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 675 SoC processor.
Redmi Note 7 Pro is actually the 2019 successor and edition to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 6 Pro Smartphone. And for the first, it officially launched in India.
Well, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is totally different to the Redmi Note 7 that was exclusively launched in China, few weeks ago. But now unveiled in India also.
During the Thursday event in New Delhi, Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro Smartphone. India is the first market to receive the Note 7 Pro.
However, the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro packs a bunch of specifications and features differences, and there are couple of similarities.

Design and Display
The Redmi Note 7 Pro looks adorable in its Aura Design, and still arrives with the water-drop notch display, that houses the front facing camera sensor.
It arrives with a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ screen, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop-style notch display at the up front. Thankfully, the phone’s front and back are covered by 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Chinese Smartphone maker, Redmi arrives with three colours, which includes Neptune Blue, Nebula Red, and Space Black.
And the first two colour variants come with a gradient finish on the back. There is a fingerprint sensor scanner, which is mounted at the back.
Camera and Connectivity
While for the optics, the phone arrives with the regular three camera – dual rear camera and a single front facing camera for selfie shots.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a vertically placed dual camera setup on the back, which consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 lens and a 5-megapixel secondary depth sensor.
While the water-drop notch display houses a 13-megapixel front shooter, this is for taking clean selfie shots, for flooding your social profile.
Xiaomi made mention that the phone cameras support Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered features, such as AI scene detection, AI Portrait 2.0, and Night mode.
Fortunately, the Note 7 Pro’s back dual camera supports 4K video recording, which is definitely incredible for the advanced version of the Note 7.
While for the network and connectivity, the handset arrives with USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual-SIM support (hybrid), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and Infrared.
Performance and Battery
The phone is powered by a 11nm Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC processor, which coupled with 4GB/ 6GB of RAM. That offers faster and seamless performance.
It arrives in two different variant, there is the 64GB / 128GB of inbuilt storage, that is thankfully expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot.
Redmi Note 7 Pro is fueled by a massive 4000mAh battery capacity, and it supports Quick Charge 4. Anyways, you can find a regular 10W charger in the retail box.
Price of Redmi Note 7 Pro
The newly announced Smartphone will be priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variants, while the 6GB + 128GB version will go for Rs. 16,999 per unit.
The device will be launched on March 6, and will start arriving in stores from March, 13th. You can purchase the phone from either Mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi Home stores, with select offline retailers to follow.
The phone runs on Android Pie-based MIUI 10 and it arrives with a a free “ultra-slim” case.
