As the top-end premium model of the Redmi Note 11 series, Xiaomi also announced the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G – Both are driven by different processors, which brings support for either 4G or 5G modem connectivity.
Tho, the global and Chinese versions of the Redmi Note 11 Pro shouldn’t be confused. The new phones can also be known as Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and as Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G model, these phones are the company’s latest smartphone for the global markets.
Both Smartphones pack a 6.67-inch FHD+ 1080p AMOLED display with DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 1200nits peak brightness. It also brings support for a 120Hz refresh rate, which brings a smooth scroll, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
These handsets also sport a 16-megapixels camera inside the punch-hole, while the rear panel packs a 108-megapixels Samsung HM2 sensor, 1/1.52” in size with 0.7µm pixels and support for 9-in-1 binning (2.1µm), and this sensor supports zooming up to 3x natively.
Other supporting cameras include the 8-megapixels 118° ultra-wide, and a 2-megapixels macro sensor, the Redmi Note 11 Pro brings an additional 2-megapixels depth camera, that’s isn’t a big deal actually.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 695 8nm Mobile Platform with 2.2GHz, 1.8GHz, and 6x Kryo 560 CPUs coupled with Adreno 619L GPU. Both phones run Android 11 with MIUI 13 out of the box.
On other hand, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is driven by Qualcomm MediaTek Helio G96 12nm with 5G SA / NSA modem, with dual 2.05GHz A76 and Hexa 2GHz A55 CPUs alongside Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. These phones support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and NFC.
There is support for liquid cooling, and both pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W turbocharging through USB Type-C that can charge up to 50% in 15 minutes. Both use a Hybrid SIM card, which allows you to put a microSD card instead of a second SIM card.
Both come in Graphite Gray, Polar White color options, but the Note 11 Pro picks Star Blue color over the Atlantic Blue color available on the Note 11 Pro 5G. These phones are rated IP53 for dust and splash resistance.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 6GB/64GB version costs $299 (N124,230 Nigerian Naira approx.), the 128GB storage option costs $329 (N136,695 Nigerian Naira approx.), and $349 (N145,000 Nigerian Naira approx.) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB models.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is priced at $329, $349, and $379 (N157,470 Nigerian Naira approx.) for the 6GB RAM / 64GB storage, bigger 128GB storage variant, and 8GB RAM / 128GB storage models respectively.
