Redmi K20 and K20 PRO unveils in India with AMOLED display and triple rear cameras

As promised, Redmi unveiled the K20 and K20 PRO Android Smartphones at its event in New Delhi, India, it is the company’s latest device with 6.39-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display, 3D four-curved large arc body, new Aura Prime Design, and a pop-up selfie camera mechanism. Although, they are some differences and similarities that bonds the Smartphones.

The identical specs of the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 PRO is the 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 91.9% screen-to-body ratio, Android Pie with MIUI 10 and in-display fingerprint scanner, 48-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a 13-megapixel 124.8° ultra-wide sensor and a 20-megapixel pop-up front camera.

Coming down to the differences, the Redmi K20 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 with up to 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and 18W fast charging support, while the K20 PRO with Snapdragon 855 with up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and 27W SonicCharge fast charging support.

Xiaomi also plastered an eight-layer graphite cooling system along with bi-directional heat dissipation on the Redmi K20 Pro, and second-generation Game Turbo to enhance game graphics. This feature will definitely please the mobile phone gamers.

They sports the new Aura Prime Design with 3D glass back with flame pattern in blue and red, while there is a unique Kevlar gradient texture in black version. The Redmi K20 and K20 PRO comes in Carbon Black, Flame Red and Glacier Blue colors options. Xiaomi has also announced a 27W SonicCharge fast charge adapter from Mi.com at Rs. 999.

The both phones comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as its network and connectivity features. They are both backed by a massive 4,000mAh battery capacity but the Redmi K2O PRO supports 27W fast charging tech while the Redmi K20 support 18W fast charging tech.

During the launch, the company announced that the Xiaomi at its New Delhi event unveiled a special edition of the Redmi K20 Pro that it calls the Redmi K20 Pro Signature Edition. The company claims that the limited edition variant comes at a manufacturing cost of Rs. 4,80,000, and only 20 units available for purchase.

Recall that this is not the first time we are seeing the two phones, as both the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 PRO Android powered Smartphone was first launched in China late May.

The Redmi K20 is priced at Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Rs. 23,999. While the Redmi K20 PRO costs Rs. 27,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs Rs. 30,999.
