Chinese Smartphone giant, Xiaomi announces a friendly budgeted Redmi Go mobile handset in India, and it is economically priced at $65.
Fortunately, this is the most cheapest Xiaomi smartphone yet, and also the first Android Go smartphone from the brand.
The Redmi Go is an entry-level Smartphone that is priced at Rs. 4,499, and was officially launched at an event in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The mobile handset comes with entry-level design and specs, you can find big and large bezels at the top and bottom of the screen.
Redmi Go arrives with 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, and sports the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, which boasts slight screen-to-body ratio.
You can not find a fingerprint sensor scanner at the back, and there is a single camera at the front and back, while the components sits at its preferential places.
Recall that the Redmi Go was first unveiled in January before being made available in the Philippines in February. And it arrives in two different colors options, Black and Blue.
For the optics of the phone, you really don’t have to expect much, because it is just a basic Smartphone, with two cameras in total.
At the back sits an 8-megapixels rear camera with LED Flash, while the front display hosts a 5-megapixels camera lens for selfie shooter.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It is a dual-SIM (Nano) Smartphone and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) out of the box. And powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, coupled with 1GB of RAM and the Adreno 308 GPU.
Redmi Go comes in two different models, 1GB RAM / 8GB inbuilt storage variant, but the 1GB RAM / 16GB inbuilt storage variant hasn’t been launched.
In any case, you can easily expandable up too 128GB via microSD card. And it comes with unlimited storage on Google Photos in high quality resolution.
The company is also touting support for over 20 Indian languages, as well as Google Assistant Hindi support (as well as Hinglish).
The Redmi Go is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery capacity, which promises a standby time up to 10 days. The company is also boasting of the presence of two microphones which help reduce noise on calls.
The Redmi Go price in India has been set at Rs. 4,499 for the 1GB RAM/ 8GB inbuilt storage variant. You can easily purchase the phone via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores from 12pm (Noon) IST on March 22.
