Redmi 7 finally arrives in India starting at Rs. 7999 for the base model

    Xiaomi’s Redmi 7 is now available in India for Rs.7999 with 6.26-inch HD+ screen display, AI dual rear cameras, 3GB of RAM and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset.

    The Redmi 7 is the company’s latest budgeted Smartphone in the industry. It was officially announced in India, at an event in New Delhi on Wednesday.

    However, the phone has already been unveiled in China, and it arrived in India alongside with the Redmi Y3 Android Smartphone.

    Understand that the Redmi 7, which was first announced in China and the India version are the same, dual rear camera, a single front facing selfie snapper and it sports two biometric sensor scanner.

    It arrives with a 6.26-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Notably, the Redmi 7’s biggest highlight is its Aura Smoke gradient design.

    And it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC with up to 3GB of RAM, it also runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box based on the company’s MIUI 10.

    Packs a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a secondary 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots. While water-drop notch display hosts an 8-megapixel camera on the front.

    It includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 32GB of internal storage with a dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots and backed by a 4000mAh battery capacity.

    The device base model, 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version is priced at Rs. 7999, while the 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage at Rs. 8999. You can purchase the device starting from April 29th across Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
