Realme X7 Max 5G unveiled for the first time in India. This is coming after the company recently announced the Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro smartphones in the country earlier this year.

The X7 Max 5G is slightly similar to the recently launched GT Neo which is exclusive to the Chinese market. However, you get premium specifications and features, alongside, the company also announced a pair of new 4K Smart TVs.

It packs a 6.43-inch Full HD+ 120Hz Samsung Super AMOLED screen with a 360Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1200 nits peak brightness, and 4096-level brightness adjustment.

The phone supports a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio with an ultra-narrow chin, the panel is protected by Dragontrail Glass, supports an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and supports a 16-megapixel camera inside the punch-hole.

Around the back, there is Sony’s IMX 682 64-megapixels sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and support for LED flash, there is an f/2.3 8-megapixels 119° ultrawide module and 2-megapixels macro shooter with f/2.4 lens.

This is the first phone in India to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 6nm SoC with one of its CPUs clocking at 3GHz processor count, with ARM G77 MC9 GPU, which improves the graphic processor during intensive gameplay.

The phone has a Linear vibration motor and 4D vibration. There is the stainless steel + copper VC cooling with a large-area heat sink for 100% coverage that can reduce the temperature up to 15°C.

It is paired with either 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage. It comes with support for Dual SIM, either nano/nano.

To start, this phone software runs Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android 11 OS. However, the company promised on delivering an Android 12 OS once the latest version comes out in the Fall.

The Realme X7 Max comes with IPX4 Splash resistant, 8.4mm thick, weighs 179g, and has a matte finish that doesn’t attract fingerprint and a glossy strip that has realme and ‘dare to leap’ branding.

It has 5G SA/NA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and support for NFC. Unlike major phones, it arrives with a 3.5mm audio jack and features Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio.

The phone packs a 4500mAh with 50W SuperDart charging through USB Type-C that offers a 50% charge in 16 minutes. The Realme X7 Max 5G comes in black, silver, and gradient color options.

The Realme X7 Max 5G 8GB RAM / 128GB storage costs INR 26,999 ($372) and the 12GB / 256GB goes for INR 29,999 ($413). Where the first sales in India start on June 4.
