During Realme’s online event, the company announced its latest Smartphone, it is the Realme X50 Pro Play with a 6.44-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, 180Hz sampling rate, 48MP quad-rear camera, and Snapdragon 865 chipset.
The Realme X50 Play is the cheaper variant of the X50 Pro that was previously introduced in China. It comes in three memory variants and a two-color variant.
Both phones aren’t that separate from each other, they are quite similar and identical in tech specs. From the screen display, processor, memory options, connectivity, battery, and others.

The new phone comes with the body of the regular Realme X50 Pro, a 6.44-inch 1080 pixels Full HD+ 20:9 Super AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 180Hz sampling rate, and 1000+nits brightness.
Which boasts up to 92% screen to body ratio, measures 8.9mm, weighs 209g and carries a punch-hole screen that houses a 16MP camera along with a 2MP depth sensor. Which differs from the 32MP + 8MP ultra-wide cameras on the X50 PRO.
At the back consists of the 48-megapixels rear camera, 8-megapixels 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, dual 2-megapixels as macro, and B&W depth camera and LED flash. Which is different from the X50 PRO’s 64MP camera, and 12MP telephoto.
Realme X50 Pro Play comes with a stunning 3D AG glass back panel, where the front and back are protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It comes in Black and Silver color options.
It arrives with a USB Type-C audio, 1cc 1216 Superlinear dual speakers, features Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio certification and features in-display fingerprint scanner that can unlock the phone in 0.27 seconds.
It comes with support for built-in 5G stand-alone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks. And now comes with HyperBoost 3.0 support that allocates all the memory, chipset, and battery power to increase the gaming experience.
With HyperBoost 3.0, the device can easily switch a network that is the quickest between Wi-Fi to LTE or 5G with zero lag. This will definitely stable the performance of online gaming.

Realme CMO also introduced the X50 Pro Player cooling capabilities, Vapor Chamber + Multilayer Solid Graphite cooling sheets between the battery and the back panel to help dissipate the heat and provide optimal gaming.
The Play Edition is purely a gaming-oriented phone offering a custom 4D game vibration, separate gaming mode, and 360° antenna. Arrives with 128GB of internal storage in three  RAM versions that’ll be available for pre-order today, and to go on sale on June 1. That is the official date for the first flash sale to kick off.
The 6GB RAM version costs CNY2,699 ($380/€350), 8GB version goes for CNY2,999 ($420/€385), and CNY3,299 ($460/€425) for the top-end variant, the 12GB RAM, as the three of them comes with 128GB in-built storage.
