Realme X3 unveiled in India with 12MP telephoto camera, along with Realme X3 SuperZoom

    Realme X3 announced as the company’s latest Smartphone in India with a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, Android 10, 4200mAh battery, and it is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus with up to 12GB RAM.

    The new Realme X3 is the vanilla / souped-down version of the Realme X3 SuperZoom that was introduced last month. The differences include the lack of periscope module in X3, which is available in the “X3 SuperZoom”

    Other differences can be sited to the storage option and the selfie camera, where the X3 packs a dual 16MP primary shooter and an 8MP ultrawide snapper, whereby, the X3 SuperZoom comes with dual 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 and an 8-megapixels ultrawide angle lens.

    Realme X3 phone

    Alongside the X3, Realme also introduced the Realme X3 SuperZoom in India, which is slightly different from the X3. Aside from the cameras and storage variants, both phones are identical to each other.

    It arrives with a 6.6-inch 1080p 20:9 FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and packs a 2.5D curved glass screen display, which boasts 90.5% screen-to-body ratio and protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

    The Realme X3 comes with a 64MP f/1.8, Samsung GW1 sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, LED flash, EIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, 12MP telephoto camera, and 2MP 4cm macro sensor. It supports 960 fps super slo-mo.

    Meanwhile, the X3’s 12-megapixels telephoto camera is replaced by with an 8-megapixel periscope lens for 5x optical and up to 60x hybrid zoom, and support OIS on the X3 SuperZOOM.

    These mobile phones feature a starry mode that shoots 4-minute long exposure shots and uses a multi-frame synthesis algorithm to reduce noise, remove ghosting and improve the purity of dark parts, feature Nightscape 4.0 with Pro mode to adjust ISO, Shutter speed, White balance and focus manually.

    While the front includes the 16-megapixels front-facing camera, and 8-megapixels 105° ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and can shoot 120 fps super slo-mo. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

    Where the X3 SuperZOOM comes with the same dual selfie snapper, but with different sensors, including a 32MP camera along with an 8MP 105° ultra-wide sensor inside a similar punch-hole display.

    Inside the phone is an Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus 7nm Mobile Platform, 675MHz Adreno 640 GPU, 6GB / 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, with VC liquid cooling for improved heat dissipation and runs on Android 10 with realme UI.

    The connectivity options includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, Dual-frequency (L1+L5) GPS, USB Type-C, and USB Type-C audio. Both phones support 1216 Linear speaker, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res audio.

    It is backed by a 4200mAh with 30W Dart Charge fast charging tech, Realme boasted that it can charge the phone from 0 to 100% in 55 minutes. You can find the phones in Glacier Blue with highlighted glass surface and Arctic White Anti Glare matte finish.

    For pricing, the Realme X3 6GB RAM with 128GB costs Rs. 24,999 ($330), and Rs. 25,999 ($343) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version. On the other, the Realme X3 SuperZoom starts at an extra Rs. 3,000 for the base variants 8GB/128GB, and another extra Rs. 7000 for the 12GB/256GB storage version.
