Realme X with pop-up selfie snapper, main 48-megapixels camera lens, 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 8GB RAM has finally been launched in India at an launch event in New Delhi with a starting price of Rs. 16999. Recall that Realme X is the company’s first premium high-end Smartphone with in-display fingerprint sensor scanner, and many other top-notch specs.
Anyways, before the official launch of the phone in India, the Realme X was first announced during May in China. Everything is the same, from the 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with 2.2mm narrow border on the top and 1.62mm ultra narrow bezels on the sides offering 91.2% screen-to-body ratio, and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform.
Realme X was also launched in India to compete with the likes of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Vivo Z1 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M40, and the upcoming Redmi K20 smartphone. During the launch, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth announced that the company has reached the milestone of 900,000 active users in the country.

The device also comes in a special Spider-Man: Far From Home edition. Available in either Space Blue and Polar White colors options. Packs a 48-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, AI scene recognition and a 5-megapixel secondary camera for capturing depth information in portrait shots. The phone also has AI scene detection, Chroma Boost and Nightscape features.
While the front pop-up mechanism hosts a single 16-megapixel front camera with Sony IMX471 sensor, AI beautification and can launch in 0.74 seconds. Well, as usual, the company confirmed that elevating mechanism has been tested 200,000 times.
The realme X Spider-Man edition comes with a special gift box comprising a limited edition protective case and a preinstalled ColorOS 6 Spider-Man theme. It also has a customized wallpaper and icon pack, includes a Spider-Man themed phone case and charger, in addition to the smartphone itself.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and new gel cooling that reduces the temperature up to 15.2% in one hour. It is completely backed by a 3765mAh battery capacity with VOOC 3.0 20W fast charging that can charge the phone fully in 78 minutes.
The starting price of Realme X with 4GB RAM is Rs. 16,999, while the 8GB RAM version is priced at Rs. 19,999. The Realme X master edition in Onion and Garlic versions with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage costs Rs. 19,999, while the Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Gift box with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage costs Rs. 20,999. It will go on sale from Flipkart and Realme.com starting from July 24th and available in August respectively.
