Realme narzo 30 Pro 5G announced in India with Dimensity 800U chipset

Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G and Narzo 30A is now official as the company’s first two models of the Narzo 30 series and its latest Smartphones in India. The Narzo 30 Pro 5G starts at Rs. 16999 and Narzo 30A starts at Rs. 8999.

It is quite apparent that the Narzon 30 Pro 5G is the premium device among the two handsets, where the Narzo 30A is the budgeted-affordable device with a 6.5-inch HD+ mini-drop and powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.

The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G is totally different, offering a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen, it is the first in the family to support a 120Hz display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, where some phones in the other generations had a 90Hz display.

It offers an automatic switch between 60Hz and 120Hz but it totally depends on the display content. The LCD panel is rated at 600 nits peak brightness. Narzo 30 Pro 5G packs a 1080 pixels screen resolution and boasts a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio.

The handset sports a premium finishing, slim bezels and it uses an AG coating process that greatly improves appearance and texture, and resistance to stains such as fingerprints.

Around the back display is the main camera setup, offering an f/1.8 48-megapixels lens, 0.8 µm pixels with support for 4-in-1 binning, and the Low light performance is boosted by the Super Nightscape mode LED flash.

It is supported by an f/2.3 8-megapixels 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, it can also be for UIS Max Video Stabilization mode. Lastly is the f/2.4 2-megapixels 4cm macro sensor. Inside the punch-hole is the f/2.1 16-megapixels front camera with a Super Nightscape mode for late time selfies.

The back cameras are quite good and offer impressive camera features. The main camera can record videos at 4K 30 fps and 1080p 60 fps, as well as a Cinema mode (21:9 aspect ratio) and digital image stabilization (UIS Video Stabilization).

Keeping the lights of the phone is the 5000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge fast charging, that can charge up to 50% in 25 minutes or 100% in 65 minutes. Realme said a fully charged battery will last for 37 hours of calls or 18 hours of watching YouTube videos.

Understand that USB Power Delivery is supported at 15W, and the battery draws power from USB Type-C. It runs on Android 10 with realme UI, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and all the ports have silicon gaskets to prevent splashed water from entering the phone.

Realme confirmed that the company has performed 320 quality tests on every 30 Pro units to ensure its durability. The official launching date is on the 4th of March and will be available on Realme’s own store, Flipkart, and mainline stores.

The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G will cost Rs. 16,999 ($235/€195) for the 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage and the 8GB RAM / 128GB storage will go for Rs. 19,999 ($275/€225). It comes in Sword Black and Blade Silver color options.
